Came here Sunday (Dec 10, 2023) around 2pm. Place was moderately busy but we were seated immediately. Our server came up also immediately, her name was Tyra (hope I spelled that correctly) and she was very professional, polite and efficient.
She took our drink order, my friend ordered some kind of chocolate martini and I had apparently a seasonal "old fashioned " if I remember correctly. The chocolaty martini was good, my friend enjoyed it; I tried a sip and it was good, different but good. My "old fashioned" (I wish I had taken pics so I apologize if it was not the drink I thought it was!) was good, a little sweeter than I thought with some "christmassy" ornamentation and I'm thinking a cinnamon or chicory stick(?), again not complaining just not what I expected but still tasty!
Tyra brought us some water and the obligatory wonderful biscuits which were awesome and warm!
We ordered an appetizer of the Crispy Dragon shrimp, which was indeed crispy, had a great spicy/sweet flavor, and cooked perfect.
For our entrees, my friend had the Sesame Soy Salmon Bowl which came out exactly as pictured and she really enjoyed it. The salmon was fresh and good and the Brussels sprouts and spring mix veggies looked and tasted just like the menu pictured.
I ordered the fish and chips plate (I know, boring BUT I was just craving any kind of fish and this met that need! The fish is a battered cod, and it was cooked nicely, the batter had a good flavor, the fries were better than many places that actually specialize in fries! The cole slaw was also surprisingly good.
The food, the service and the overall cleanliness of the place earned the 5-star review. I also want to again thank our server Tyra, she was exemplary and made the experience much better. Definitely recommend and will return.
(I should have gotten photos like I normally do but I assure you the items we ordered looked EXACTLY as they appeared...
Read moreI would leave 0 stars if it was an option. I have said a thousand times I would never give this location another chance. I should have stuck to that.
If your going to eat here under no circumstances DO YOU order to go food. JUST DON'T DO IT! Save your time and money. McDonald's would of done a better job and I don't even eat there.
Upon arrival no one greeted my husband who went to pick up the food so he walked to the bar and our food was just sitting there getting cold. He told the guy behind the bar he was there to pick up an order and the guy just pointed to the bag and didn't say anything. So my husband looked over the receipt and saw it was our order and left with it.
I paid extra for extra Alfredo sauce and the pasta was plain and barely had any sauce at all. We also got the brownie dessert and it didn't come with any of the toppings. My husband got a side salad and the lettuce was brown. I have ordered to go before from a different location and never had this problem. For the dessert they usually package everything separately including the ice cream for to go orders. Also my soup was missing which is what I chose for my side. I did not pick the order up myself so I was not able to look at it before arriving home.
No one pays $50 for a meal to throw it away. You need to learn how to adequately make and prepare food. Also learn how to read. I tried to drive back but by the time I arrived the Restaurant had closed. My husband was passing through Cartersville on his way home. This location is 30 minutes away from me. Thanks for a night...
