This plaza is one where is a really good variety of stores, but they're spread out a bit. They have quite a few that can be anchor stores on their own: Bed, Bath, And Beyond, Best Buy, DSW, Michael's, but sadly no more toys r us. And all the stores seem quite busy, but I havent noticed any being overly crowded so generally, you can get good parking near where you want to shop. It really is a central place where a lot of chain stores have locations, but it's not really set up for walking. Also, Nearby, you have home depot, Lowe's, REI, Target, and others. You can walk if you have the time or if you're sticking to stores close to each other, but the layout doesn't really feel that "inviting for walking around. I find myself coming to this area a lot more than I thought I would, simply because many of the places I need to shop can be found in close driving proximity. Overall great area to shop, but not as easy for store hopping. It really is just a tradeoff though. I probably come to this area more than I'd...

I will never be back.. I called and talked to the manager about...
Read moreTraffic is horrible. Aggressive drivers. The Town of Cary City Council was duped by the developers when Crossroads was proposed in the late 1980s. The City Council was told "It will look like a quaint, old-time downtown where people can walk to shops instead of drive."
A few years before Crossroads was built, the same out-of-state developers built a similar shopping fiasco at Pleasant Valley. I called a city council member and asked her if she had ever shopped there. She said, "No, I don't get to Glenwood, I never leave Cary." I encouraged her to see Pleasant Valley with its fake facades before she voted to approve Crossroads. She never did. After Crossroads was built, I called her to see if she was happy with it. She admitted the developers duped the Town of Cary City Council.
The only reason to go there is Bed, Bath, and Beyond...to get furnishings for the...
