This is the best Casper can muster? It is better than nothing, but not by. A lot. It has always been this way in Casper, cruise the strip and get in trouble for drinking or loitering. That aside, I compare this to Boulder.s Pearl street mall out side and can only laugh. I remember the tribune article that stated this place will not. Be for skateboarders to stand around and smoke. Are skaters the only ones who stand around and smoke? It,s apparent this place is only for a certain sector of Casper. I have been to many other places like the Boulder farmers market which blows away anything Casper could conceive of. At least there you can walk your bike or skateboard through the area while you shop or hang out. But Casper is very cliquish and closed minded on counter culture of any kind. I have lived in Casper for 11 years and I would love to see more events that include different music tastes like jazz, electronic, R&B/Soul, etc, and not just on a 1x a year sort of thing, but on a consistent basis. Those of us who wish to be exposed to a diverse culture would be so appreciative.
