Highly disappointed in the customer service. Was asked to leave a phone number for the person I was having balloons sent to. I was told that the delivery wouldn't happen if they didn't establish contact. The person that was receiving the gift was told by the delivery driver to "be there in 15 minutes or I can't make the delivery". This wasn't possible as this person was about 30 miles away (and had to cancel their plans to have a delivery made). When you're offering a service to a customer, I don't find it appropriate to demand anything of them. I understand calling to make sure they're present, but please don't make demands because it's convenient for you. Also, the delivery was set on the side of the house (as requested by the recipient since they couldn't be there). Unfortunately this delivery may or may not have occurred because the $45 balloon/candy/stuffed animal gift was never seen again. What a bummer for a 7 year old's birthday. Last week, I post a one-star nasty review of this florist on Google reviews. After seeing my review for this florist, I received a phone call from the owner of the store. She kindly informed me that "Ava's Flowers" misrepresented her store as a local florist. This was NOT the case! While my order was processed, it was processed by an unknown supplier, not her store. I ordered a large bouquet. The "substituted bouquet" was quite small and the quality of the product was not acceptable. The owner of this family owned florist called me back and explained that Ava's Flowers had ripped me off, not Castle Rock Florist. I need to set the record straight. My original post reads, "Do NOT order flowers from this florist." The correct post should have read, "Do NOT order online from Ava's Flowers." Wow!! All I can say about this business is they exceeded any and all expectations. I was calling from out of town to order the perfect sympathy arrangement. Having just lost my own mom I have realized that sometimes people need a keepsake and not just all fresh cut flowers from the funeral. So, I called about a peace lily and maybe a lantern or an angel statue or even a cross or something similar to display in memory of our friend’s loss loved one. Rena was so patient and so kind! She helped walk me through different ideas and scenarios to get to the perfect gift. I am thrilled with what we ended up with after she sent me pictures of the statues they have to offer and quoted me different prices so I could remain in my budget. I would highly recommend them over any other florist in the area!
