Hello Fellow Shoppers! My name is Brian Katana, and i wanted to throw on a review, especially direct a message to the Mall Owner.

Beaver Valley Mall...I LOVE that Mall...it opened in the 1970's, and at that time folks the opening was a HUGE deal, its true...from Bands to Entertainment & News Coverage, that Mall made headline news! Over the years that Mall represented to Beaver Valley what the Eiffel Tower represents to Paris...what the Twin Towers, now the Freedom Tower, represents to New York City, and so on...the Beaver Valley Mall was the cornerstone of sites to visit when coming to Beaver Valley...that Mall had great stores at one time, from David Weiss to Kaufmans to Woolworths, Suncoast Videos, FYE & so on...again ANYTHING we needed was at that Mall. Holidays were special at the Mall, a warm & relaxing feeling when walking around Thanksgiving Eve or Christmas Eve, uve bound to run into friends you havent seen in awhile...always a great time out. Notice i mentioned earlier "was"...now that Mall is an embarassment to not only this Valley, but to the people living here...hell u go to the Mall now, 70% of the stores are closed, Mall is damn near empty & vacant. And i have a stern message for the piece of crap owner.

I know in this day & age we cant be negative & we arent allowed to speak our minds anymore & hurt feelings...well i was raised in the 80's so screw it...to the owner...how dare you allow that Mall to fall victim to these times...u should be ashamed of urself...the only thing keeping that Mall afloat is the awesome Food Court & a very reputable Kings Jewelry & the other Stores brave enough to stay. Sir im pissed, this Valley has nothing anymore & ur allowing that Mall to stand in embarassment...money right, ur goin to blame? Its odd that Robinson Mall, South Hills Village Mall & other Malls are thriving...so wat excuse do u have? Oh i bet ur sleazing something, hoarding money, pocketing money...again just my opinion, ive been in politics a long time, i mean it was an argument alone at one time to keep the famous & enjoyable damn kids train in the foodcourt.

In conclusion to the fellow shoppers, try to keep supporting our Mall, lets not lose it...and to the owner, ur a friggin disgrace...but hey, if im wrong, id be more than happy to sit down with u face to face & listen to ur B.S.

Thank you all...

By Now, Everyone who has followed My Google Reviews(OVER 18,000!!!) Know that I was a Food & Bev Director, Pit Boss, Slot Host & Assistant Hotel Manager In "OLD VEGAS"! This time I'm reviewing something NEAR & DEAR both to My Heart & My Past: The Beaver Valley Mall! I was born in Steubenville, Ohio & I would always look forward to the "FAMILY EXCURSION" there!(That was the Closest Mall to Steubenville before the building of the STRIP-FIELD DISASTER: The Fort Steuben Mall in 1974!) When I go back "Home" I make it a point to stop there: Maybe it's the "Nostalgia" of the Supper Club chain at the time: Ciro's Top o' the Mall! I like to see the "ORIGINAL MALLS" SURVIVE & FLOURISH! Of course, having been a Food & Bev Director in VEGAS, I like to "HIT" the Food Court! But first, I must note the Interior of the Mall: Very Bright & Clean! Being paisan, I had to try Anthony's Pizza: I was HIGHLY IMPRESSED in both the cleanliness & the quality(& Portion) of the slice! (Again I was a Food & Bev Director in a now-gone Strip Hotel/Casino so I DO KNOW ABOUT FOOD (I'm not just a "NOVICE DINER with NO CULINARY EXPERIENCE( I HIGHLY DOUBT THE "YELPERS" would even know what Limoncello was!) Great Customer service as well (& when I go back again to Ohio, I will Bring "MY CREW!") Chick-fil-A is "A PLUS! (Clean service area & counters plus those criss-cut fries!) I did want to give a SHOUT OUT to (& Special Thanks to) Karen Miller (in Management) Her assistance (& Reminiscences of "Ciro's" Made the visit a VERY FOND ONE! (How I wish that My Ol' Friend, David Thomas Jones, was still alive to attend the tour with Me! (And I'm Pretty sure that You know WHO I MEAN!) I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND a STOP to The Beaver Valley Mall(and if You happen to run into Karen, tell Her Brent from Vegas sends HIS REGARDS &...

The BVM used to be a staple for the community of Beaver, Monaca, and other surrounding towns. Unfortunately, for the last 7-8 years, the mall has seen a sharp decline in almost all aspects across the board. Less than a decade ago, this mall used to be the center of the community; with constant events, huge daily turnouts, and full of diverse businesses; however, in present day, more than 40% of the storefronts are either permanently closed or empty, there are maximum 15 people inside roaming around (depending on the time you visit), and the quality has decreased tremendously.

In 2017, the mall was purchased by an outside company with relations to the developers of the Shell cracker plant constructed nearby. It’s obvious that the new owners do not care about the mall in its current state or the future. The property was basically used as a throwaway commercial center for incoming workers from across the country to move temporarily (for the construction of the Shell plant), with the only changes being adding a U-Haul & a Rural King location.

Very sad to see this happen as the current owners are intentionally sabotaging this great historical landmark. They would rather keep the rent imposssibly & irrationally high to prevent new businesses from entering it instead of working with them to keep this mall alive.

I would not be surprised if in the coming couple years, the property is either closed permanently or torn down as the construction of the Shell plant is almost completed and workers have begun moving away again. There is obviously no future here, at least not with the...

I absolutely loved this mall! My dad and I came during the craft fair. So many lovely things to see, I felt like I could spend all day here. The food court is awesome, lots of good options to choose from. The Dick’s Sporting goods is clean and well organized. There’s a train for little kids that’s so much fun. My favorite part about the mall was the energy to it; the way the sun came down through the top made everything bright. I can see how much potential this mall has! The owners should make rent more affordable so that more shops can open and to make a place for the community. It was sort of sad and surreal to see the empty storefronts amongst all the people at the craft fair. So much could be going on here and so many opportunities for stores, if rent could be affordable.

Nice place to buy clothes. A lot of on sale and cheap. Some store are closed but they have a lot of new stuff selling over there. Good place for food too. I like sushi and pizza. Thinking to try Chinese next time. They have arcade and there has DDR machine (I like dancing DDR and it's hard to find one nowadays so I am so happy I found one over there). If have time I want everyone to go visit there. Let's help the stores to keep on open and don't run out of business 😉

A place completely lost to time. Don't Come here for the retail come to gamble next to Chick-fil-A. From a make shift kindergarten to a chicken casino they have so many odd things that you have to come check it out. Drop your elderly parents off at a old person clubhouse then go gamble that disability check away at the casino while the kids ride the train for hours. Plus U-haul self storage in. The. Mall.
