The Famous Bonanza Casino — Attraction in Central City

I've been going up to the casinos for years and have never been treated the way I was treated today. We recently went through a horrible house fire and lost everything including our beloved kitty cat. Our puppy is 13 years old and is a seven pound little guy. He is deathly afraid to be alone. He has been clinging to me since this happened. So I have been up to the casinos a few times since this happened. I've spoke to the managers on duty each time I've gone and was told as long as he stays in his doggy satchel and don't bark or walk around he is fine. I was told to day by a manager name Lesley that he was not aloud in the casino. When I tried to explain our situation I was asked who I spoke to. Not knowing his name she told me "oh you don't know because I never spoke to anyone." Impling that I was lying. She was being sarcastic and mean. The way she was speaking to me was as if I did something very wrong. After I told Lesley the person I spoke to was white male with glasses she turned and rudely said"I guess he can stay." Again she was very unprofessional with her tone and body language. Feeling upset that I was just rudely spoken to and embarrassed in front of her employees and a room full of other people playing. This casino is okay. The restaurant is pretty good for a deli style. They offer good wings, street tacos, and burgers. They also have waffle fries, if you're into that kind of thing. Back to the casino, this is a coin based casino still. It's kind of annoying carrying a 200 lb bucket with you when you hit a decent amount. No table games, which is a bummer. The staff is always split 50/50 between extremely rude and very nice. There are a few new machines and a lot of older machines. This is a good place if you want to take a trip to the past and play casino games from the 80's and 90's, then slam your $5 in quarters on the cage desk like you're a millionaire. I had to change my review. Some staff are friendly. The bartender doesn't like to leave the bar or even ask if you need anything when your sitting right next to bar. You have to yo het.The other thing I didn't like is I wanted to get a cappuccino from the cafe upstairs and they said they're cleaning and shut down there were reopening at 11 even though she could make me one they didn't reopen till 11. Also they have a lot of regulars that come in and will put their slots they like on hold even though they can only play the 2 or 3 they are on. They save machines throughout the casino which I think is not cool. Staff will sometimes do something if you complain but the casino is definitely losing money when all these machines can not be played.
