My family and I went to this theater on Monday, 01/20/2020. When we walked up, there is a large sign in the box office saying to purchase tickets inside. When walking inside you are are directed to purchase tickets at the food counter (what???). This made the lines for food very long and very slow. We were 45 minutes early to the movie so we were fine but others were not so lucky. I heard several people complaining that they didn't want food, only tickets, and yet they are forced to stand in the long lines. Not sure who thought this was a good ideas but let me tell you... it's a terrible idea. We waited almost 20 minutes to be helped. Strike 1.
Strike 2 happened when we ordered food and were told we'd need to wait 5-10 minutes to get a hot dog as it was just put on the cooker. No problem... or so we thought. We waited on the side and 15 minutes later were told it would be at least 10 minutes more for a hot dog so they would deliver to us in the theater. After going to sit down in our theater and waiting over 10 minutes, we went to pick up the hot dog instead. Upon going to the side area to pick up the hot dog, we couldn't get anyone to help us. I watched as other cashier's were giving hot dogs out to other customers who ordered them... watching them slowly go away. Finally I said "excuse me" to the person who had said she'd deliver the hot dog as she quickly walked past me trying not to make eye contact only to have her stop abruptly with her back turned to me, take a deep breath, and turn with and irritated smile at me and say "yes?"... as if I had not been waiting 35 minutes now for a freakin' hot dog! Strike 3... this theater is definitely out!
If they would only realize how inefficient and frustrating their combo ticket/food line idea is, I'm sure they would not feel the stress and frustration so blatantly from their customers.
The theater itself is clean and comfortable... unfortunately getting into the theater and settled put a damper on...
Read moreI accidentally visited this movie theater. I thought this movie theater was 4DX but nope to my unfortunate expectations it absolutely was not! Not only was my visit here very let’s say unexpected but it was also Blah! Like upon entering there wasn’t much direction or signs displayed to let us know where to go to get help. Being it was our very first time at this establishment. We were confused by the process at first and soon realized we had to stand in the long concession stand line just to check in for our movie. The kids behind the counter were moving slow motion and by the time we got to the front they had no idea how to scan my tickets. While the young girl did go get Austin I assume the manager for help he was much more helpful in figuring things out! I had discount coupons and he was patient enough to help us figure things out. I did not like the way they processed things tho if we needed assistance with our ticket we stood in the long concession stand. If we needed a refill on our large popcorn and drink we stood in the long concession stand line missing half our movie. The workers except Austin were so slow smh then I ordered a large Pepsi only to find something floating in my cup so I asked for a new cup I guess the young girl had to walk all the way to the other side to ask one of her co workers if I can get another cup only to come back to give me a refill of fruit punch which by the way taste disgusting. I didn’t even bother asking for another drink I want you to just be done with my movie and never visit this place again. Look at the seats smh yea but never again y’all...
Read moreHello! It was my first time coming to this specific cinema with friends to watch a movie at around 7:50 pm & the service counter where we got the popcorn was not that great. I met with a Michelle R. (According to my receipt) & she was very rude. I understand if she was having a bad day or something, but my sympathy for strangers can only go so far. My friend & I felt rushed & when trying to get the candy that comes with the popcorn combo, a very noticeable & aggressive smack on the counter was a sure sign she was telling us to hurry up. A quick glance to tell her to stop was not enough to calm her down. We wanted to get as far away from Michelle R. once we got our food. I sensed a bit of profiling from her as well, asking us with an unnecessary tone if we have our tickets. We are paying over $30 for food already. Of course, we already paid for our ticket. Throwing our straws onto the counter was also a clear sign that there was something wrong.
I hope she isn't being bullied by other staff members because I can tell she wasn't happy being there. However, if it's the other way around & she is making other staff members & including customers uncomfortable, then I can only wish her luck because her service was nothing but passive-aggressive.
However, i will say, the inside is nice & a thank you to the young gentleman who gave us a random smile on our way out. After that, I realized a 1 star review felt too harsh.
A kind thank you to the other staff but a respectful no thank you...
