Gordon Wheeler Gallery LLC — Attraction in Charleston

My wife and I searched twenty eight galleries over the past two months searching for her Christmas present. The week before Christmas we toured sixteen to finalize our decision. This time around, we veered away from Impressionism, Abstract and Traditional Landscape Works. We found the perfect painting for our home. The composition was like looking out our porch across the marsh and river in Folly Beach. The colors are vibrant, the sky mesmerizing and the theme peaceful. Caleb was very helpful throughout the entire process. Mrs. Wheeler was instrumental in having Mr. Wheeler personalize our choice for Kim and including some native waterfowl. This place was GORGEOUS and the artist had tons of incredible paintings to choose from. My husband and I have been wanting a Charleston themed painting and there was so many we loved, we couldn't pick just one. 😍 The painting are by no means cheap but the prices were much more reasonable then any of the other galleries we walked through. We also met the artist's wife and Ensley (I think this was her name...) who also worked at the gallery. They were both very sweet and welcomed us to look around, and ask questions, which was different from some of the other galleries we visited, where you were only welcomed if you had deep pockets. I will definitely return here and hope to purchase several on Mr. Wheelers pieces...

This is my favorite gallery in Charleston. I make a point to stop by every time I visit the city. I have two pieces from here and both mean a lot to my family.
