I came for dinner on a Saturday night. Sometimes you have to look for parking, but luckily there were spots out front. I was immediately helped and everything was explained. I was able to get my drink and all the condiments I wanted. I like how all the condiments are self-serve. I sat down and I was ready to start. Throughout the meal, I ordered several things off the iPad including hibachi steak and crab Rangoon. It did take a bit to come out, but I didn’t mind because of the conveyer belt. I do wish the iPads were connected by a cord because the interface is hard to see as the iPad is in a cage on one end of the table. Also, the interface is a bit laggy as the iPads are from before 2020. On the converter belt, I had many dishes including edamame, cheesecake, sashimi, and many sushi rolls. I enjoyed rolls, such as the Raleigh roll, Queen roll, naughty crab roll, shrimp tempura roll, volcano roll, etc. Ironically they did not have a standard Philadelphia roll. There was the Las Vegas roll, but it was a deep fried version. There were periods throughout the meal, where there was literally almost no food on the belt. I’m not sure what was going on there. While waiting I did enjoy their playlist of music.I did try the salmon and tuna sashimi. They were definitely not as high quality, but the price justifies it. Speaking of that, the price is amazing. It is only around $18 for dinner and the food is unlimited. I had not been here since 2021 and I am amazed the price is still the same. There are several unlimited sushi experiences in Charlotte, but this one is by far the best value and unique experience. In fact, they are now called Neo Sushi Express. Next time you are in Charlotte make...
Read moreI don't normally give out bad reviews unless my experience was truly that terrible. My husband and I visited on Sunday afternoon for a good lunch & wish we had known the struggles I would have gone through beforehand. When we arrived and saw the $18 pp all you can eat price, I knew that this wasn't the place for me.
The conveyor belt concept was cool & for people who eat all kinds of sushi, then I'm sure this place is for you. For vegetarians - STAY AWAY!! As soon as we sat down, I saw a cucumber avocado sushi on the belt and thought okay, this looks promising! I took one of the plates of the belt and patiently waited for another vegetarian roll to come by. 5 minutes...10 minutes...15 minutes go by and still not a single vegetarian roll came to me. Either they weren't making enough vegetarian rolls, or they were being taken by other people before it even got to our table. We had ordered some appetizers (spring rolls, veggie tempura, veggie fried rice) as well but they were all disgusting. I saw a plate of edamame come by on the belt and took that, but they looked like they had been out for awhile & definitely did not taste fresh either. We had went up to the lady at the front to ask if she could request a few veggie rolls to be made and put on the belt, but very rudely she said to us that there were 2 already on the belt. Okay...well if 2 tables before us take the veggie rolls then by the time they come to us, there's actually 0 plates on the belt.
Honestly, I would rather spend $18 on a non AYCE place and get my money's worth. Wish the lady had confirmed any food restrictions before we paid & wasted our money. Never...
Read moreThis was my First time going (including entourage), the girl at the front explained everything so well, sadly the conveyor belt wasn’t in use, so we couldn’t really experience the whole, picking things out as it comes to you. Yet the service was great! they had really great seating arrangements concerning covid procedures!! The food was so good!! I’ve never had sushi THAT FRESH and neither has my boyfriend! He literally said “my body thought the rice and everything was going to be cold, i was shocked when the rice was warm!” (He’s not really into sushi, i am) you do have to wait a bit for the food but its not an issue at all. You pay for the meal & also get the sauces & cups at the front. They will give you a booth number and after you pay you will go and find your booth (they don’t seat you, its very hands on for the customers so i really liked that) My Entourage knew how to use chopsticks so we used them, i have no clue if they have silverware, but in the photos it doesn’t seem like you need them except for the hibachi -(its a small dish due to the sushi being the main dish) Overall, this place is great, it is pricey! We paid 70$ for three people for All You Can Eat. Yet im so willing to come again every so often for date night. I 10/10 would fully...
