JT Posh Luxury Consignment — Attraction in Charlotte

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! These people are extremely unprofessional! One week ago, I took many (brand new/ never used) luxury merchandise; hats, handbags, accessories, belt, sunglasses, values thousands of dollars, jewelry (w/boxes that has model and sku #’s for authentication purposes) I was trying to be helpful for their process. They made me wait more than a week without any communication. I was patiently waiting for them to reach out but ended up going into the store today. Long story short, I did not agree on their consignment pricing. I decided to pick up the merchandise back as I realized, they threw away the original boxes of the jewelry items, unwrapped the handbags.. First of all, we did not have an agreement yet….what is the purpose of doing that? Imagine, you take brand new items to a store w/box and receiving back without it!! No one in the store want to take any responsibility of what happened or not a single person exisr to take the managerial responsibilities of this boutique as I have been told “there is no manager on duty”!!! My merchandise is tampered, the value is decreased as I don’t have the info for authentication because of their unprofessional handling. Be AWARE of this information if you are thinking about doing business...

I have shopped and consigned here and have had great experience on both ends. I love that as a consigner, I can check online to see when items have sold.

As a shopper, I like going in for specific things, for example a dress for a wedding or shower. This isn’t the kind of place to go if you’re looking to re-stock your closet on a budget, but it’s great for finding special pieces. I feel the customer service is just fine. The employees are not over the top, or down your throat the whole time, which being from the NE, I appreciate. A quick hello and a few check ins is just fine with me. The first time I went with my boyfriend, who was given a nice chair and cold beer while I tried on clothes. Pretty good deal to me. There are clearly many customers who are frequent buyers and consigners and have established relationships with all the women there. That’s how you run a successful business.

Many comments complain about prices, however most of the items within the store are labels that rarely go on sale, and if so, good luck finding in your size. As a full time reseller myself, their pricing is consistent with what would be available (second-hand) online. The store is beautifully curated, making consignment feel up-scale...

You have the worst customer service in the entire world. You turned the light out on me while I was in the Dressing Room. You never smiled or even acknowledged me when i spoke to you. I paid a lot of money for your products. Smiling is free. I paid for you to treat me as a human who is paying money to shop in this store. I will tell everyone in the world who will listen to never shop at your racist store. There was reason for me and my mother to be treated this way because we were in the Dressing Room an extra five minutes. I have never experienced this behavior not in Beverly Hills, Paris, London, you name it. You are so rude that you write on your receipt CLERK Unknown!!! What? You cannot even identify yourself because you know your behavior was SO unacceptable. I spent over $170.00. There is no " Thank you for Visiting " at J.T. Posh that should be written on the receipt.
