Usually, I do not have a bad experience at this Wells Fargo. Unfortunately, they were very awful this time around. My sister who travel's for a living because she teaches ESL teacher in other countries, had a check from the school she taught at in Taiwan. When the associate gave the foreign check to the manager, he had to look up and see if Wells Fargo could take checks from this country. He then proceeded to give my sister and I misinformation about where we can go to get the check cashed. LUCKILY, I called to verify if this was true before driving there, yet as it turns out they only do money exchanges. Afterwards, my sister and I were waiting for a banker to get her a temporary card because her debit card information was stolen. At first, my sister was devastated that the check would not get cashed (mind you this check was for 1,600 American dollars). She was waiting outside to pull herself together. I was waiting inside for the banker, and when my sister finally came back, the banker took another customer before us. We left after waiting another 15 minutes. Read moreI have been banking with Wells Fargo for over 6 years, not to my satisfaction but out of locational necessity. Today I had by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. I am a single mother of three children and both of my teenage children work multiple jobs to help support our family. I have been cashing their checks at all locations without them present(as they are minors) for the duration of the past three years. Today the blonde lady at the window “Annabelle”, was on a power trip insisted that I have my child present with me, and said that whatever other branch had cashed checks previously must “not have been doing their due diligence”. I guess all locations haven’t been doing such??? So then I had to turn around in pre 5 o’clock traffic and go pick up my two children who weren’t working and bring them back to the bank. When we arrived there were 9 people in line waiting to be assisted by the one teller that was actually present at the walk in window. As a side note for everyone, I do hope everyone has patience and time. Every banker and teller are either understaff or slow. Every staff are doing their best what their client (whoever is first in line) needs. Place yourself in their shoe, and you wanted to give every information or helping out what the person need instead of being rush to serve every customers behind.
