Masa Sushi — Restaurant in Charlotte

Where do I start? I'm hesitating to write this review for the last 6 months, because I DON'T WANT TO WAIT FOR A TABLE. I know the secret now, so I'll tell the masses... BEST ASIAN IN CHARLOTTE! This is an awesome example of a small business... family own and ran. I've been here at least 50x and while they aren't perfect, most consistent dish in the region. I've lived on the west coast, and this is the only place I'll get Chinese FRESH? ✅️ Awesome? ✅️

If you have a less than satisfactory meal, let me know and ill do something crazy... and I'll refund it for you(message me). I don't even own the business, but love this family that owns it. They take care of me and all my employees and I'm confident you won't be disappointed!

P.S. wouldn't let me add fav dishes. General Tso knows what's up. Scallion chicken? Any day. I only order a few things, but I'll give you a PRO TIP! go for the lunch combo and dine in. You get complimentary soup (multiple choices), and egg roll. Then order your fav. They knock everything...

Masa Sushi is a somewhat small but cozy restaurant with really nice, friendly staff. My order began with the Unagi Nigiri (BBQ Eel) which was excellent & 2 nice size pieces of Unagi. I didn't realize how big the portions would be so I ordered the Shrimp&vegetable Tempura Appetizer... it was really a meal in itself... and then the Pork pad Thai noodles which had alot of pork & was very tasty😋 I gave the hostess/waitress a nice CASH tip ... it's better to leave cash tips since staff don't have to report the full amount if it's not documented on the credit card & they work hard for their tips. I only wished they would give soup or salad included as a dinner side. However ... Everything was excellent & I highly recommend Masa Sushi for the best Asian food I've had in Charlotte or anywhere else in NC for...

On May 26, 2023, I ordered General Tso non spicy to go and when I got home it was spicy. Therefore, me and my kid were unable to eat it and discarded the entree. The next day, I spoke to Alana who stated I can get a half off credit. Later that same day, called back to inquire about the half off ( since I paid full price) another told me that my meal would be credit full price. Today, June 23, 2023 I walked in to order my credit meal and no notes in the system, I went back and forth with store mgr: Lea and she calls Alana...still saying 1/2 off and still walked out with nothing because they wanted a little money over satisfying a regular customer. Will not be ordering here ever again. Looking for a new restaurant that appreciates...
