I came here to have my laptop screen frame replaced as the hinge broke. They fixed the screen speedily and friendly. While there the salesperson who was very nice upsold me on also replacing my hard drive to have more space (I wasn't looking for that but it was fin). I was happy to pay for that and have it replaced. While there they charged for a diagnosis fee which was included in the final price. Don't know what is so hard about diagnosing a broken hinge but I understand they need to make money somehow. They discovered that my battery was 2% below the recommended battery lifespan and to replace that as well. I declined as my laptop still held a charge for at least 2 hours without needing to plug it in. Ever since getting my laptop back it keeps shutting off which I attributed to the power settings which I then adjusted. It kept shutting off. I go from a full charge of 95% battery to saying it's critically low in less than 15 minutes. It never did that before I went here and now my laptop needs to be plugged in at all times to be functional. I'm not sure what they did but I know it didn't do that before they "fixed it" and now it does. They offered no solutions other than replacing the battery (which was working fine until I took it to them). I will never be taking business to them again. I found out about Computer Cave via looking around the good ol' World Wide Web. I was looking for professionals to build my custom PC rig. These guys are most def professionals and well-versed in their craft. They gave me the price which is $200-$250 which I deem as fair, they took about 2 days building it due to having to order an exhaust fan. This is rather quick and cheaper compared to other places such as Top Notch Computers which gave me an estimate of 5-10 days for the PC to be built. The final product is perfect, the parts are flush, the system cools, and it fits perfectly in my setup. I highly recommend this store for any of your troubles!

However... No one is perfect. Some of my parts such as the Wi-Fi Antenna was in my GPU box and not my MB box. This makes me frantic as I would expect everything to be in their proper boxes. Especially after spending money for the services and parts. But granted, it was an error. Again, no one is perfect. But I would highly recommend triple checking that the parts are in their correct box. Regardless, these guys should be your go to in Charlottesville for any of your computer...
