Great park- has it all but the swimming beach experience is awful, actually it’s terrible! I read the rules online before coming here and they sounded okay but once you actually get here and you are repeatedly yelled at by lifeguards (myself & others included) about things that are not specified in the rules it becomes an awful experience. You have to stay with in an arms length of anyone under 6. The kids CAN NOT wear a life jacket at this beach in the deeper section even though it is apart of a much bigger lake. The kids CAN NOT wear a life jacket in the shallow section unless you are going to stay within arms length of that child, even if they are over age 6. You CAN NOT use a simple (dollar store type) kick board here or any other type. There are many other rules as well… My daughter was diving for a diving toy and she was yelled at & for what reason?- I still don’t know. There is nothing on the rules that says anything about diving toys. Will not be returning to the beach part.

This is a very awesome and attractive park. There's a swimming hole and board walk that surrounds the majority of the water area. There's plenty of fish to go fishing and recreational activities available such as a paddle boat. There's the crooked pint ale house to grab a brew and a bit to eat which is also attached to the curling center. There's a nice play ground and a land fountain to play in and cool off from the mist. The reason I give four stars I'd because of all the trash and toys in the water. Clean up after yourselves people-We only have one earth.

Fireman’s Park in Chaska, MN is truly a hidden gem and a perfect destination for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing day outdoors! Nestled right in the heart of Chaska, this park offers something for everyone, and it’s easy to see why it’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

One of the standout features of Fireman’s Park is its charming beach area, perfect for swimming and soaking up the sun on a warm Minnesota day. The sandy shoreline is clean and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for kids to splash and play while parents relax nearby.

The park also boasts fantastic playground areas thoughtfully designed for children of all ages. Younger kids will love the age-appropriate structures, while older children will find plenty of space to climb, slide, and explore. The equipment is modern, safe, and set against a scenic backdrop that adds to the park's inviting atmosphere.

For those who love to stay active, the walking path that winds around the lake is a real treat. The path is beautifully maintained and offers stunning views, including an incredible bridge that crosses right over the lake, providing a perfect photo opportunity and a peaceful spot to pause and enjoy the surroundings.

The fun doesn’t stop there — kids can cool off at the park’s small but delightful splash pad, which is always a hit on hot summer days. And if you’re feeling adventurous, the nearby concession stand offers paddleboard and boat rentals, along with a variety of small bites, snacks, and refreshments to keep everyone fueled and happy throughout the day.

One of the most touching features of Fireman’s Park is the small memorial dedicated to the brave local firefighters who have served the Chaska community throughout the years. It’s a quiet, respectful space that adds a meaningful layer of history and gratitude to your visit.

Whether you’re coming for a swim, a walk, family fun, or just to enjoy the peaceful lakeside views, Fireman’s Park is a must-visit destination that perfectly blends recreation, relaxation, and community spirit. Highly...

My kids and I LOVE fireman's park bc it's got something for everyone.

Swimming, fishing, paddleboating at the Clayhole, playing at the splashpad or 2 playgrounds are the kids favorite things to do there on any given day of week. Safe and clean park, positive community vibes. Concessions lifeguards and all other summer time staff always friendly, helpful and put safety first My favorite is the all- accessible trail that winds around the park system and over a bridge onto a boardwalk where we have spotted different species of fish, turtles and what we have debated but believe to be a woodchuck (or a ??? Please lmk if you know! i love nature a lot but def not an expert lol but love to know cause this little guy is so darn cute lol !)

Also - try the superman ice cream at the concession stand - believe the hype, its so good!

Fire and Ice Fest is great. Plus music in park all summer long and other events that get the whole community together.

I've never used their event facilities or been to event inside but looks like a nice place for a small to medium size wedding or...
