Erlanger Express Care - Gunbarrel — Attraction in Chattanooga

I decided to try EEC since my general practices was unavailable. I was having symptoms related to severe allergies, and the decongestant I was taking wasn't helping.

The NP (Sharon) was dismissive and unprofessional. She came into the exam room assuming I would not consent to a Covid or Flu test. What really happened was the nurse asked if my symptoms were severe enough to warrant a swab, which I told her I didn't think so. I never said I wouldn't take them.

The NP prescribed an OTC cough syrup and nasal spray, both of which I had at home. If she had bothered to review my medical history and ask me questions, she would have known I didn't need that..

What she DID do was deny me any further services and made me feel unwelcome and and inconvenience.

I reported her behavior to the office manager and requested that I speak with Sharon's supervisors. It's been 2 weeks and I have yet to receive any contact to further discuss this, which is why I'm leaving this review.

I came in with my mom for some pre-employment tests and shots I had to get done. We were told by the receptionist I had to have an appointment made at least 24 hours in advance which I thought was strange since it was a walk-in clinic. We asked the receptionist if she could go ahead and schedule the appointment for the future and she said no because she didn’t have access to the calendar. We were given a list of all the Erlanger express care locations with their numbers to use in order to make an appointment so my mom tried calling the gunbarrell location but the phone call just went through to the receptionist who was unable to make appointments. The receptionist also told me I couldn’t get my respirator fit test done without bringing a respirator mask with me since the clinic didn’t supply them.
