I don't even want to give a one star. Rudest employees working here. They left their 50% sale marker by the frame we picked out after going over custom pricing that was way too expensive. And when our frame did not ring up the sale price the flippant cashier, that could not even say excuse me twice before us checking out when she came down the aisle we were already in, sent an even ruder emplyee back to check the price. She said it was buy one get one half off. I finished my other purchase and raced her back to look at what I had seen and she was taking it down. So she not only did not take down the 50% sign after she was sent back to price check the first time, but then she proceeds to berate me with the coupon in my face that it states in the corner of the tag that sale had expried on 6/7- TEN DAYS PRIOR!! It had been up for 10 days past the sale and I, as a consumer, was suposed to know that. She said there was no way she was going to honor 50% off of a $160.00 frame, even though it had been on sale for that 10 days prior. I went back up to the counter to return the other purchases I had just made and the rude cashier, said "It's not my problem, I am not the manager". But yet she sure didn't offer to call one or problem solve at all. I will never be back to Michaels, ever. We went straight to Hobby Lobby and received the complete polar opposite experience and were in and out of the store with a mat cut to fit the frame we picked out for $44.00 in less than 25 minutes. And the nicest lady helped us. (I wish I had gotten all names involved). Don't waste your time at Michaels like we did, just go to Hobby Lobby or Amazon to save yourself...
Read moreI didn't quite understand where to post this review. I wanted to say that Michael's website is extremely hard to navigate and has a ridiculous shipping price. My local store shut down making it a challenge to get the free pick up. Not withstanding the fact that their selections for supplies seems to be expensive and narrow. I only have a five dollar gift card and it feels like I can never use it. ( Hints I've now had it for going on 3 years) So now I have two options pay 7 dollars in shipping on a 2 dollar item or drive an hour away from my home to go in this store just to buy the one 2 dollar item I need. It doesn't make sense. So now I can just sit here with my gift and and wait another 3 years to actually use my five dollars. I can't help feeling their just trying to take advantage of people...

I had been a customer at Michael's for a long time in California, but the last time I had something framed, I was not pleased at all with the outcome. Unfortunately, there would have not been time to correct it before I moved to Tennessee. David not only honored their policy and fixed it, but he made the Sydney Opera House art look spectacular! He helped me find a frame that will shine no matter what room I display it in my new home. And he spruced it up by adding the silver bead fillet I had liked in another frame -- I didn't know I could do that! I look forward to having David frame many more frames for my new home.
