Had a horrible experience, There was only 1 person in front of me in line. No one behind me, a lady and her husband were trying to buy a clay vase, The cashier was wearing a snow toboggan. In 83-degree weather, She spent seven minutes trying to look up the item to scan the u p c code. When she couldn't locate it, she paged someone and one came, After waiting about three minutes she paged someone else and no one came, there were several other people working in the store. My guess is they all know she's a disaster waiting to happen and ignored her pages. Meanwhile, the gentlemen in line that was trying to pay. Asked the cashier to let me go ahead and let me go through so I didn't have to stand there and wait, The cashier denied his request. Not having anyone at all show up Mind you, she was gonna have me just continue standing there and wait. I guess it was way too much trouble to ring up 2 items. She Just made me stand there waiting at this point about twelve minutes. Another clerk happened to walk by who just arrived and was not clocked in, the cashier, ask Her to ring me up, I'm guessing because she was too lazy to, Well that employee wasn't clocked in so she requested to be clocked in before she would ring me up. Needless to say, I purchased 2 French press coffee presses with only 1 person in front of me in line. The whole experience took me 20 minutes to get out of the store. The whole time there was spent standing in line. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had, as far as guest services was involved. I've never seen such a poorly handled situation in my life. I was rushing back with my coffee presses because I was planning a dinner party that I was made late for as a result of this debauchery. After reading some of the other reviews, it is very doubtful that anything will become of this review other than don't go to the world market unless you have all day to spend...
Read moreI drove from Asheville to Chattanooga to pick up the last Tyson Grey Ottoman that I could locate. I was excited to see it at the counter waiting for me to carry it out. I went to check to see if there was a Persian Blue rug in stock as online stated there were 5 rugs. I inquired with a salesperson / manager who was setting the store for an upcoming management visit. Btw, The store looked great! When I ask if there were any in stock in the back she stated, "no." I asked if I could have the one hanging up on the display and was told, "no." I advised her that I drove from Asheville, NC to pick up my ottoman and was hoping to get another rug. She said that I could order it online and have it delivered to my home and she said she could not take the one down and she was busy setting the store. I did tell that I had great customer service from the Asheville store as two sales professionals helped me to bring down the last one which was their display, and they rehung another style. I am pleased with my ottoman and the store looked great; I wish I could have had a better experience with the sale person/ manager. Although, she was called up front to help assist with loading the ottoman into my vehicle and am grateful for her we got it fit in the backseat.
I hope the management...
Read moreJust tried to return a few items from Christmas, yes it's late, but I had my receipt, gift receipt, do t just bring that because if you don't remember exactly the way that you charged it versus sliding the card in or tapping apparently you're not going to get your money back. We had to settle for a gift card because they have no other way to override the system. On top of that there was a woman, i believe, with a snow toboggan on named Megan who was either drugged out or drunk or something in between, she was clueless about her job, had zero customer service, I mean zero. She called for Hanna and/or Darla at least a dozen times. Super frustrating, I will NEVER step foot in one of your stores. Please hire competent people and not DEI hires. It makes your organization look horrible. She needs...
