Boston Universal Stanley Hotel & Hostel Boutique — Attraction in Chelsea

I was in a tough financial position, being in between jobs and taking care of my sick husband. We chose to rent a room at the old Stanley Hotel now called the Universal Motel in Chelsea MA. We knew it was not going to be the best of places but what we got was unbelievable. Rats throughout the inside and outside of the location. Bed bugs also throughout the location. One shard bathroom which was never cleaned and had mold every where. The constant smell of urine was throughout the entire building. We were paying 80.00 a night ! Constant cops activity there, you could smell the drug usage from time to time. The only time the place was remotely cleaned is when they were scheduled for a city inspection. And the owner was caught several times changing room amounts to what ever he felt like for who ever he felt like. This place...

Me and my fiance decided to check this place out since we was out all night , front desk was kinda weird not much info on hotel just a key handed , when we went to the room i notice this was not a usual hotel was more like a actual room with a bed a little desk and a bathroom inside , i like to check around the place ima sleep , bed was very comfy not gonna lie but there was alot of mouse trap all over then the bathroom had used soap in the shower i was a little disgusted, then i noticed a little camera on the ceiling which for me was very odd, i told my mom about it and she said this hotel was known for a hotel that has cameras inside the rooms , after she told me that i will never again step a foot there , i told my fiance and he was so disbelieve this is...

The worst hotel in the city.|You can't put new tile on a 60 yr old mold problems everywhere.|I can't believe the city let's this place exist. |You can change / aka / universal hotel./ the name but not the mold and prostitution .|The dirt and smell of mold actually caused me to have such a bad chest cold I had to leave for my family's save keeping.|Between the crack dealers and the people from india running the place who " do not take credit card ' and as I could see for myself the many prostitution sales all around that hotel, they abuse their staff.
