Two stars because the cashier was nice! This is my favorite store to shop at but the customer service I received today was as absolutely horrible. I went to get a few things for the Christmas holiday and decided to get a Christmas tree. The tree I was interested was outta stock so one of the managers was like hey you can have the floor model and we give you a tree bag 50% off. I was like cool! I get to the register and let the lady know what the guy says and she rings me up but she needed a override to complete the transaction so she calls the female manager who was white. Now this is where the horrible customer starts. First the manager comes to the front and drags the tree over to the counter scraping the tree stand against the floor I asked her if there was a problem with the tree she replies rudely and said No I just can’t lift it up from the bottom so I asked if she could get some help because I Don’t want to buy a tree that you dragged across the floor. While waiting for help the other young lady was ringing me up and the manager yells over to her rudely and states that the tree is not on sale either. They young lady had already rung me up and I was already in the process of handing her my money. The way she yelled out “The tree it’s not on sale either” was not necessary because it was after the fact! I just really felt like the female manager was rude to me because I was black and I said something to her about nicely and told her to have a nice day! I decided not to get the tree because I just felt mistreated. After getting my other items I noticed that they over charged me so I try to talk to another manager a young white male who just tried to hurry me up by saying we took off the tree. I tried to kindly ask him to slow down and just get a calculator so we can figure this out but he brushes me off and take my receipt to the back. At this point I was so frustrated he comes out and gives me money back but I still feel like I was treated badly and over charged……I know sometimes it’s not the company but the employees who have a problem with other cultures. Read moreI have never been in this store & one night while I was out shopping at the mall I decided to drive across the street and see if they were still open & they were. The sign said open until 10pm and it was 9:35pm at this time so I decided to go in real quick because I was looking for a certain item that I figured they would have. As I was putting up my car windows & getting ready to get out of my car another car pulled up and parked right in front of the store & went inside the store so I knew the store was definitely open still. So I got out of my car & walked to the front of the store & the automatic doors would not open, they were off as if the store was closed & they weren't letting any more customers in. As I was standing outside of the doors two employees, one with a vacuum, were walking towards the front doors looking at me as if I was wrong for trying to come into the store & they would not let me in. According to the sign the store is still open for another 20minutes so there should be no reason that the doors are locked & no one else is allowed in especially after I just watched someone walk in 5 minutes before me without a problem. So I returned to my car & sat there and watched to see if anyone else went into the store but only people came out. So I will never go into that store again & they will never get my bbussiness ..That...
Read moreI came here looking for a rug a few weeks ago and online it said the clearance rug was on sale and that there was more than 1 in stock. It took awhile to find a worker to help me, and once I did, the lady tried to help, but the rugs were all disorganized and it was hard to find it. Online it said it was for in-store only and that I couldn't order online and have it shipped. I'm a little disappointed in this option restriction, because I wasted over an hour looking through the large rug selection. At least the employees were nice enough when they were assisting me at check-out and then with the rugs. But I'm still disappointed in my experience and probably won't come here again for rugs. I did end up purchasing a chair from here, but that was all I had the patience for. I hope in the future, there's better options for ordering online without those pesky restrictions.
