I visited your store located in Cherry Hill, NJ. I drove a half an hour to get there from my home I ordered the family feast meal with the four burgers it gave me an option either to add eight strips of bacon for $2.99 or no bacon. I elected to add the option for eight pieces of bacon for $2.99. when I go pick up the order they still have my burgers just sitting there they didn't even bother packing packaging it up I realized that they put lettuce tomatoes and onions on all the burgers when I asked them to please remove it because I did not request that to be added on to the burgers the blonde headed girl with the nasty attitude is like oh well you didn't tell us not to add it on there and then I have to let her know that when you order it the picture literally shows a separate bowl with lettuce tomatoes and onions in it so why would I have to tell you if the expectancy is that it's going to be placed on a different container because it's an order to go; I'm not eating at the restaurant I'm getting food to go. I'm bringing it home, naturally that's going to make the burgers soggy. I just ask them to please remove the condiments they don't even have to give me any fresh ones just put them in a separate container;she rolls her eyes n tells the cook to remove condiments n place in separate container. she packs the stuff and it's a full bag n drops in on the table next to the register without even addressing me doesn't tell me you're all set so I stand there waiting and then I say isn't my order all set and she turns around and says yes, I'm thinking the fries are in the bottom I asked them if they added the jelly that I had requested for the pancakes at which point they realize the pancakes are not even in the bag so then she goes back gets the pancakes n the jelly that I had requested and I proceed home. When I get home after driving another 30 minutes back home, I start to pull out my family's dinner n realize they did not give me the fries that were a part of that family meal. I called the restaurant and spoke to wisdom I believe that's his name. The lack of humility/accountability is infuriating because his response Is we only forgot the fries??? It's literally half of the damn order. it's burgers and fries. He says he's going to have the GM call me in the morning so that they can maybe give me a refund, that's a joke. I hang up the phone proceed to take out the rest of my order and realized the bacon I ordered was also missing which was supposed to be in a basket on the side. I then call back and of course I'm livid but the attitude is what really stuck out because again no accountability, no, I apologize, it's a back and forth of was the bacon supposed to be on the burger or on the side I literally have to go through the entire ordering process letting him know that it gives you an option to add the bacon on the side to only be met with this disgusting attitude and demeanor once again. No accountability no type of apology, we will rectify this. Just somebody will give you a call tomorrow that's the response. it's a complete and utter joke. Even when I came in and greeted both of the employees the blonde headed girl with a disgusting attitude who just looks miserable and truly hates her job and the clueless young guy who really should be in the back as opposed to work in the front was ridiculous. I'm not understanding why she's working in this type of field when she clearly has an issue doing this type of work. I'm truly infuriated because the truth is I spent almost $50 to now have to give my family a half a meal. I drove literally an hour going and coming back the time I had to wait for the meal to then be treated as an inconvenience because they can't be bothered. it's truly infuriating, I would never recommend anybody to go to that IHOP maybe with a change of staff but certainly not with that type of service. it's not worth it, save your money or go to a different IHOP bc the one in Cherry Hill in New Jersey is a...

Walking into IHOP these days can feel like a gamble. Let’s be honest—some locations have slipped so far, you half expect Gordon Ramsay to storm out of the kitchen screaming about raw pancakes. And after seeing the decline of places like the South Philly IHOP, where chaos reigns supreme and the vibe screams, “Are we sure we’re safe here?”, my expectations for the Cherry Hill location were…let’s call it cautious at best.
But Cherry Hill? Cherry Hill is doing something right. I rolled in at 10 AM on a weekday, a time you’d expect a chain diner to be half-empty and low-energy. Instead, it was packed. Not uncomfortably crowded, but alive with families, retirees, and a whole lot of happy breakfast energy. It’s the kind of scene IHOP should be, and it felt like a step back in time to when this brand had its act together.
Let’s talk about the vibe. Safe. Friendly. Welcoming. This isn’t one of those locations where you wonder if your pancakes are going to come with a side of drama. The Cherry Hill IHOP is clean, calm, and clearly well-managed. They’ve nailed the atmosphere, proving that when a restaurant prioritizes the customer experience, people show up—even on a random Tuesday morning.
And the food? Look, it’s IHOP. You know what you’re getting: fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, bacon that’s somehow both crispy and chewy at the same time. It’s breakfast exactly as it should be. Nothing groundbreaking, but that’s not what you’re here for. You’re here because you woke up craving comfort food that tastes like nostalgia. And Cherry Hill delivers.
The staff? Friendly, efficient, and refreshingly normal. No one was aggressively cheerful or trying to upsell me on extras I didn’t want. They got my coffee filled and my order out in good time, and sometimes that’s all you need to feel taken care of.
And can we take a moment to celebrate a small but massive win? The syrups. They’re back. The table had all the options—blueberry, strawberry, old-fashioned, and that buttery pecan that feels like a hug for your waffles. It’s a small detail, sure, but during the pandemic, those syrup dispensers disappeared, and breakfast just wasn’t the same. Seeing them again gave me a ridiculous amount of joy.
The prices? Reasonable, as they’ve always been. You leave full without feeling like your wallet just got emptied.
Bottom line: If you’re looking for a solid IHOP experience, Cherry Hill is where it’s at. It’s proof that when a location cares about quality, customer service, and atmosphere, people notice. And while the chain as a whole might have seen better days, this IHOP gives me hope that the pancakes will keep flipping for years to come....
Read moreI visited this ihop on Sunday 9/1/24 with my parents and son and to say the hostess and waitress was rude would be an understatement. When we parked and went in we knew it would be a longer wait due to how busy it was, which wasn’t a problem. However, when we talked to the hostess and asked for a table or a half booth/half table the hostess acted as if we were inconveniencing her with this request. We make this request everywhere we go because my mom has trouble getting in and out of booths. (Even as a 6’5” healthy 35 year old had trouble getting in and out of the half booth we were sat in with how little space there is). Then after our waitress took our drink order and brought our drinks out, she didn’t give us straws, which my 6 year old needed due to the lid on his cup. After she came back and gave the table next to us their food, she turned to go back to the staging area and my mom simply said “excuse me, can we just get 3 straws for our drinks because we didn’t get any, please.” The waitress snapped back with an attitude saying “well I had to get their hot food out first.” And pointed to the table next to us and then tossed 4 straws on the table and walked away. Fortunately, as the restaurant cleared out and the rush was over the service got a little better by the end of the meal. I understand being stressed during busy times but that’s no reason to be rude to your customers and act as if they are an inconvenience to you. They are your paycheck. Other than that, the food wasn’t that warm. Not sure how long it stayed in the staging area but there needs to be more room. Shouldn’t have to walk your customers in the way of workers through the staging area. And the parking is pretty bad. Not enough spaces for how many tables are in the restaurant. Much prefer to go somewhere else than deal with the hassle of trying to park then being treated terribly if it’s a...
