Bread & Bagels — Restaurant in Cherry Hill Township

We usually frequent K&A Bagel cafe in Cherry Hill but figured we try a new spot.

We visited this location on 7/13/19 around 10:30am. My husband ordered a plain bagel with turkey bacon, egg and cheese. I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and a coffee. The girl behind the countered informed me it was self served. I went to get my coffee and noticed that the creamer which specifically stated “keep refrigerated” was out on the counter (the area was warm). My husband asked them if they had cold milk or creamer, the two girls behind the counter looked at each other as if it was a confusing question and proceeded to say no. Once in the car I started eating the bagel and it tasted funny like the cream cheese had absorbed all the funky smell from the fridge that it was stored in. Once I got home I scraped the cream cheese off the bagel and applied my Philadelphia cream cheese and finally poured my refrigerated creamer into my coffee. I will not be returning to this spot. Just left this place. Cashier took my order, I grabbed a menu to look at and stood off the side while I thought my breakfast was being made. Cashier asked me maybe 3 mins later if I needed help. Uhh? I said you just took my order? There was only one person in front of me at the time, who already left. Others coming in after me are leaving with their orders. I asked if mine was ready as I was here before others leaving. Needless to say between the time my order was placed and the cashiers 10 steps to the prepper, my order was “lost”. I asked for a refund and left. Terrible customer service. Was actually hopeful for this place since I hear they have good pepperoni bread. But with the rundown 70/80s aesthetic, should have turned right around before even...

I used to live across the street and patronize this place a lot. Every time I go in there the people behind the counter can't even muster a smile. But today I went there and actually argued with the Asian lady behind the counter on whether or not she put enough chicken salad in my sandwich. I told her that she skimped on the amount of chicken salad and she proceeded to argue with me about it. She then stormed off into the back and I told her that she had really horrible customer service and walked out without my chicken salad. Horrible horrible customer service do not...
