Update: I received well written letter from Paul F. viviano apologizing for the guard petals being left on the flowers (it was more than guard petals but still had specific information so it wasn't a form letter). I do appreciate the letter. There was also a $5 coupon that expires 4/15. I don't have any event coming up that quickly I would like to buy $35 with of flowers (minimum purchase to use coupon) but the thought was there. Thank you.
I ordered the Bella Rosa Ultimate Rose Color 18 roses bouquet and a mylar balloon.
I asked in the shorter than twitter special instructions section if I could get 17 roses and the balloon in one of the flowers place as it was our 17th anniversary, the balloon and rose were roughly the same price. That didn't happen and I have no complaints about that. They have a menu and the prices are what they are.
The roses however when they were delivered had bruises on them, wilt and weird light brown veins. I know this because when my wife got them she was showing me all the little blemishes on about half the roses. Not what I wanted from a $150 gift.
I called the customer support line the next day (It was my anniversary, I had better things to do!) and first talked to a representative that was pretty agitated that her offer of a $20 gift card or a replacement wasn't what I was looking for. She also said she had a picture of the flowers before they were boxed up to be delivered and that they looked good. I said then something happened during delivery, she said nothing happened during the 5-6 hours between boxing and delivery. I asked them so you are saying I did something to them? She said no, but what is she really saying then because the flowers I got and the flowers she sent don't match up, I read between the lines, from her remarks the fault had to lay with me if no one else . I ended up talking to Susan I think her name was. She was very pleasant, listened to me, and allowed me to send pics in email which she looked at and called me back. She was good at her job, but I explained that I paid for a moment, and the moment was ruined with bad flowers, a replacement wouldn't change the moment. She explained it was guard petals they should have removed but didn't. I told her also that there were other problems with the flowers though too, not just the guard petals. Told me a bunch of times that my wife deserves the beautiful flowers I ordered. She was right. When the call ended she was good enough at her job that I think agreed to a replacement but emailed right away and said I'd rather get a refund. Like I said I paid for a moment.
I did get the refund 4 days later, but there was no further communication to let me know that is what happened after we hung up the day I called.
The flowers were okay, but they weren't worth, to me, $150. I could have got Meijers flowers that would have been marginally worse than what I got for less. They did make it right though. I just had to ask twice. I thank Susan for doing so. I'd buy from them again, I truly would. But I would go get them myself and pick them out. Maybe the 5-6 hour delivery in a box and in a car wasn't good for them. Then I have no one else to blame but myself if there are problems. I picked them out and paid for them

Hey viviano's... Try not to call a guy's wife to let her know that she is getting a delivery of flowers. Thank you, way to ruin a surprise. Try leaving a message on the buyers voicemail, some people can't answer personal phones while at work, and please don't call the delivery phone number ever. Lol
Side note. Their flowers are always beautiful and normally don't call. We all mess up sometimes. But...
Read moreI haven’t received my bouquet yet but I’ve been emailing Marena about a simple and small bouquet for my courthouse wedding. She has been absolutely amazing about working with my budget and making the most of my order! Her response time was also spectacular, I had the order set up and paid for within a couple of hours and all via email (except calling to make the payment - which I prefer). The customer service has been exceptional thus far and though a little pricey, I will definitely be coming back just based on how I’ve been treated!
