The Great Frame Up — Attraction in Chesterfield

We have gotten numerous art pieces framed here over the years. The service, quality, and being locally owned keep us coming back, but I wanted to call out this most recent experience. My husband and I walked into the shop on a Friday evening, 22 minutes before close. I naively thought we could pick out a frame and mat in that amount of time. The owner, Keith, was working that night. He greeted us warmly, listened thoughtfully to what I wanted, looked at the photos I had brought of my space, and went to work pulling frames and mats, making recommendations along the way, and explaining important details like, this frame is great but FYI it’s a dust collector or if you chose a darker mat color it’ll really make the artwork pop, etc. When we were about 7 minutes before close, I sounded a warning to my husband. Keith immediately said not to worry about it, and he’d stay as long as was necessary to make sure we got it right. We looked at many frame/mat combinations, discussing the pros and cons of them all. Then, suddenly, Keith brought out the perfect mat. It exactly matched my vision, we paired it with the perfect frame, and the order was placed. We kept Keith about 20 minutes past close, but he didn’t even blink an eye. Then, after you’ve committed to a frame and mat, you can start to second guess your decisions because it is hard to picture what the final product will look like. Keith said if I didn’t like it, they’d add a different mat over top at no additional charge which was very reassuring. Today we picked up the artwork which was on time, as promised, and it looked even better than I thought it would. The frame and mat color were perfect for the space and exactly what I had envisioned. Great staff! They are very knowledgeable about everything framed. They helped us pick out just the right frame with the right mate. I didn't realize the difference good quality glass makes. We got a very old artwork framed up just in time for Mother's Day. My kids did a great job picking it all out with help from the professionals. My wife is going to love it! Thanks for doing a top notch job on preserving this artwork for many generations to come. Will definitely be back with more pictures that need framed. I cannot put into words how impressed I am with this shop and the owner Christina! As soon as I walked in Christina and her team walked me though my options that were available, as well as alternatives. I knew I was going to stretch my canvas due to the size (5' x 6'), and Christina spent a good 20 minutes walking me through how to do it best, products I could use, and ended with the invitation to help me as the project moved forward.
