AptAmigo - Chicago Apartment Locators — Attraction in Chicago

I have worked with several brokers over the years and I have never had such a great experience as I have with working with AptAmigo! I was lucky to work with Vanessa I & Patrick B. I really hate apartment searching, it truly stresses me out, but Vanessa did an amazing job with helping me find my perfect place + not being as stressed. You can truly tell that they actually care about helping clients (opposed to a lot of other brokers who see clients only as walking dollar signs).

From day one she listened to my likes and gave me very great recommendations, and was very patient/understanding with me. Her knowledge of the buildings/finishes definitely saved my time so I wasn't going to places she knew I wouldn't like. She set up my tours and was unable to attend however they sent another great person to lead the tours. (She still kept in touch with me during my tours as well which was very kind!)

Patrick B, did an excellent job with leading the tours. He knew what I was looking for and asked the right questions to the leasing agents . There was a hiccup in the schedule (one building was behind on their showings) but Patrick made sure we still got to see everything else and we were on time for everything! I could tell that he was coordinating things with the operations team and it sounds like your internal communications are very impressive, organized, and spot on!

There was one issue I encountered with the apartment building while signing my lease (not apt amigo's fault at all), and Vanessa was still there to give me advice on how to proceed. Also want to note, If it wasn't for Patrick asking the leasing agent a specific question, there would have be an issue with my lease agreement. So I really appreciate that.

Overall, I had an amazing experience and highly recommend AptAmigo to everyone. I know that they are a start up so I can't wait to see them bless the rest of the world with their services! :) (and sorry for the novel, just had to share it all so you can see how...

I was at such a loss when looking for an apartment having some resolving credit issues and having nowhere to turn for someone who is knowledgeable about the apartment rental market in Chicago and also knowledgeable about all the application processes. AptAmigo is so knowledgeable about what credit they pull what credit they use just so well informed about what’s going on in the rental market in Chicago. I worked with Curtis . He was there every step of the way. Literally anytime I texted no matter how late or how early he always got back to me. He was very supportive throughout the whole process, giving me feedback in real time and explaining to me why one building might be better than the other based on a various amount of factors influencing my credit. After almost a year of not having any luck, I met up with Curtis and he compiled a list of apartments. He knew I would get approved at and not waste my time and the $500 application fees. Although the first apartment I did not get fully approved, it was conditionally approved that was significantly better than any other news I had gotten. However, the second apartment I applied to, I got approved outright. I believe that it was due to extensive knowledge of Curtis and his team and this whole company, I feel like is probably the best one I’ve worked with that I have my own apartment no cosigner in Chicago. I would recommend this free service to anyone even if you’re not having issues with Credit or finding a place these are the people that you need in your corner to get you what you want when you want it . I am so grateful to them for helping me find my new home and eventually helping me and my partner find our three bedroom next year. It had been about four years since I had last looked for an apartment so when I started using the apartment sites like Zillow, Apartment.com, I quickly became overwhelmed by the amount of options.

I stumbled upon Apt Amigo's website and saw all the wonderful reviews / comments about how easy and painless it was to work the company and their agents. I reached out and Jane contacted me shortly thereafter.

My first conversation with Jane was great - she was so friendly and asked questions about my criteria and would send me back great options. We first toured about 4 apartments and she was so patient in listening to our feedback and suggesting other options. The AptAmigo database is also very robust and helps you filter through apartments that fit your criteria as well as reviews regarding the building itself that were helpful.

Jane scheduled all our starred apartments and was super responsive in following up with the leasing agents and keeping us in the loop. All we had to do was provide her our schedule and feedback and she did the rest. She also drove us to all the viewings making it a fairly quick process to see multiple viewing in a day. It is a ton of coordination to schedule with the leasing agents and then the buildings themselves or owners/renters so I appreciate that Jane handled all of that seamlessly, Once we selected our apartment, Jane coordinated the logistics with the owners and leasing agents and we were able to apply + secure the apartment less than 36 hours. I attribute that to Jane's responsiveness and organization.
