Me and my sister's family went here yesterday. The beach itself is small and wasn't too crowded when we got there. We were able to rent an umbrella and chairs which was nice for my nephew. There is one outdoor restaurant on the beach which the FOOD was good, but their bathroom is not public. Since we ate there we were able to use it but were repeatedly told its for customers only. I had to ask about 5 different employees where the public restroom was for changing/after we were done eating... Which they finally realized it was locked. I don't like to complain but they were the dirtiest bathrooms I've ever seen and bugs all over the walls and ceilings, no changing table or place to change really... And no outdoor showers like the bigger city beaches. I recommend this beach only if you have bigger kids who you don't have to change, and if you pack your own food or plan to walk to navy pier and eat. I am giving it a lower star rating because it just wasn't family friendly and trash...
