This national monument is definitely very inspirational! My friend and I visited this place recently. We started in Bronzeville and walked to this national monument. We were considering taking the bus 39 but decided to explore the neighborhood on foot. There is a beautiful walkway in a park that leads to this national monument. The location is very calm and serene. There are inspirational quotes engraved on the monument. We spent some time here - this is a great place to think and reflect.

The monument is graceful and strong, beautiful. The surrounding space was tranquil and reflective on the late Sunday afternoon when we visited. The accompanying plaques were also well done, graceful as well as educational. A definite must-see for anyone living in or visiting Chicago.

Breathtaking doesn't even begin to describe this beacon of beauty and information! We were just passing by when we saw it and had to stop and use the professional cameras. Hopeful to stop back by and share it's beauty, but idk that a photo can truly give this space it's justice... If you're in the area, most definitely...
