Let me start this disturbing story by saying my grandmother has been going to this place for jewelry for over FIFTY YEARS. She trusts them. She had ordered my parents a silver wedding anniversary gift of two silver cross pins and the total came to approximately $230. She selected two crosses out of a catalog and he told her their price (for her, an 89 year old woman). This place gave the pins to her fully wrapped in gift packaging and the first time I saw them is after my parents opened them. All of the grandchildren (who helped pay for this gift) fell silent, and then we grew upset. These are absolutely garbage and worth maybe $20. As you can see from the photos I attached, they are THINNER THAN A CREDIT CARD and about as large as a thumbnail. A quick google search shows pure silver is between $20 and $30 per ounce, and these are like 1/10th of one ounce each, if that. They also look like they’re made of nickel. My grandma turns 90 this year and these scammers saw an opportunity to rip a vulnerable senior off. Don't believe me? Look at the attached photos. They ruined my parents anniversary lunch by defrauding and scamming my grandmother, thinking that she had purchased them by herself (and not with all her grandchildren), that they would not be seen until my parents opened them, and no one would know the difference. What makes me feel even more sick is that she has been going to you for DECADES, how many thousands of dollars have you scammed her out of? I sent you an email with my contact information, I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. The implications of what you did are very serious. IN RESPONSE TO YOUR “RESPONSE”: You called my grandmother to manipulate her further instead of contacting me directly, and embarrassed her and upset her, which is what we were trying to avoid by going to you directly. Of course she’s happy with the purchase because she thinks you’re her friends! And she is 90 years old! That’s why ripping off seniors is so common because they don’t know they’re getting ripped off! I know you’re doing this to a bunch of seniors who have gone to you since before the internet and don’t know they’re getting ripped off. And my whole family paid for those, she just put them on her...
