I have to be honest... the rate for the particular room I stayed in was great. Why??? Because, it had a kitchenette... sink, stove, etc. The room was basically clean... at first glance. Definitely not the worst, definitely not the best. Check in was quick as I prepaid online, however, the $100 deposit is audacious. I've stayed at the hilton, holiday inn, Marriott and didnt have to pay $100 deposit. Now, let me get into the reason for my long winded review. So, I check in, get my room key, drop my stuff off and leave right back out. When my boyfriend and I return, i start to really check the room. Making sure the linen was changed, the floors clean... my boyfriend goes to the bathroom and finds a hat hanging on the bathroom door. So, as I'm surveying the room taking mental notes, he asks me who's hat is hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I assume he's joking so I ignore him... he asks again, so I go in the bathroom to look. Sure enough theres a hat hanging in the bathroom. I instantly start looking in the drawers and the first drawer I open to look in... METH!!! Enough for me to immediately recognize what it is. I tell my bf to come see, he's like, yup that's meth. long deep sigh so, I continue to look the room over and in the tub, there are long dark strands of hair. On the floor, there are long strands of hair. I tell him, it's fine, I really dont feel like having to change rooms and all that. Fine, close the drawer, pretend I didnt see it... he gets the hair out the tub. Thankfully the bedding was hair free, no spots, no signs of being slept on. The towel bar was faulty, there was no hot water from the sink the next morning and the heater didnt work... until the next morning an hour or so before check out. I didnt complain to the front desk cause, they should do a better job of ensuring their staff is diligent about cleaning. Especially if I have to have almost $200 to even get the room. The meth in the drawer, by far the wildest thing I've come across in a hotel. Long story short... basic room, doesnt warrant the $100 deposit. 50, maybe. Cleaning staff would 100% benefit from some lessons on not being mediocre. Like make sure there isnt hair, belongings or METH left behind. If those things weren't an issue, the rating would be 3.25 stars. MAYBE. And I...
Read moreI have yet to check out. Here are my notes up to this point:
Staying with our baby on a family trip and rented two rooms. We called when we were booking a reservation to confirm that they had a pack 'n' play for our baby to sleep in. First red flag should have been that the manager, a Spanish speaker who doesn't speak English well, hung up on my wife. When we called back again, it was her and she denied hanging up but did, indeed, confirm that they have a pack 'n' play.
We called again two weeks ago to confirm that they do have a pack 'n' play. They confirmed that they do.
We show up. No crib. I ask for a solution to go get one for them to keep after we use it tonight and they can comp us the price of the pack 'n' play. No. They offer us 15% off the price of ONE room, no compromise and the gal at the front desk says, "take it or leave it." So I guess they would rather have none of our business or give us like $25 off for a $65 dollar purchase we'll make for a single night. We have a pack 'n' play at home that we would have brought if we knew they didn't have one.
Because I believe customer service can be fixing a wrong, I'll amend this with high praises if they'll do what's right.
Finally... The front door looks like someone tried kicking in the bottom of the door and it's still unsealed. In addition there is no lock over the windows above the shower/tub.
Update- they offered us $18 off the room after we purchased a pack 'n' play and offered to give it to them if they reimbursed us the cost. They thought 15% off one of the rooms was more than fair. I disagree. Terrible cleaning, horrible service, nasty neighborhood and they just don't care. They probably don't give a rip about the bad review and I'll either get no response or a copy/paste answer...
Read moreI stayed here for about 2 weeks . When I arrived to check in (early ) I let the lady know the name and that the deposit and everything was already paid for . She could not find the name and told me there’s no way we already paid for the deposit . I told her we called a couple hours ago to pay . “That’s not possible “ I then let her know the booking was confirmed and I already got charged . It was through booking “ she then said oh okay let me check . Still couldn’t find it , was giving me attitude about the booking because she couldn’t find it and tried charging me for 1 night because we”didn’t book the night we were checking in “, asked for my ID and started charging me . I then showed her the booking confirmation of the days and everything and proceeded to act all nice after I had proof of payment and confirmation of room . Can’t believe I was going to get charged for a night I had already paid for . I was in the lobby waiting for my room for about 30-45 minutes .
While I was waiting a lady had this lady cancel reservations and in that I heard my booking name . The lady said no that’s her . I’ve seen ratings on here that they cancel for no reason , I believe that from what I witnessed. Moving on , my room had cockroaches, the curtain shower kept falling all the time . The floors were DIRTY . I was walking with my socks and my socks were straight up black . You can test it yourself with a napkin, rub it on the floor and that napkin will turn black. We asked to get the room mopped and cleaned , didn’t really help . Room also had ants .
Please get in contact with us . 7/23-8/5 We’d like to speak with the owner of this hotel / building manager . This is unacceptable. Will never come back here . Want...
