AMC: you ask your guests ānot ruin the movie,ā and yet here I am, having to go through the hassle of 1. Obtaining a refund 2. Having to pay for my tickets twice because of the ineptitude of your workers to resolve a simple refund issue 3. Having to contact customer service to only be told exactly what I was denied: a want to watch a movie with friends, good popcorn, a friendly, welcoming, CLEAN environment 4. Putting up with slow service for popcorn when there were only two other people in line 5. trash cans, trash, popcorn everywhere, movie showroom signage off, and 6. Dealing with your indifferent and inept cashiers and management.
You guys really did it for this Premiere Membership card holder and member since 2014.
I didnāt want a refund. I didnāt want credit. I simply wanted to watch a movie. Why was my whole night ruined in a single instant by one of your workers who could have resolved this issue in soooo, so many ways?! This was disappointing, irksome, and quite unacceptable. The indifference and the quick shoo I received only made matters worse. Iām there to watch a movie. I shouldnāt have to figure out HOW to fix my issue. Thatās literally why Iām paying you.
MY MONEY + MY MOVIE TICKET should = YOUR OWNERSHIP TO GOOD, GENUINE CARE FOR CUSTOMERS, at minimum.
I guess I will have to resolve this on my own. Can anyone help me with a refund, credit, a link to company policies regarding customer service, information regarding policies on refunds, or anything that will help me resolve your issue, because if customer service and management at the ticket booth were unable to help me, you might as well lose this customer to such base experience (and some of your theaters can get pretty messy and unprofessional).
Come on! I shouldnāt have to go to a farther AMC and pay more than I already am to receive a potentially better service. Why are we failing to impose these company standards across all AMC theaters?! Why am I having to do your job, to figure out where you could have done a better to ATTEMPT, at least, to resolve my issue to keep a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreExtremely overpriced food and over priced tickets. Nowadays it seems like they don't even have a regular viewing of a movie anymore, everything is 3D and of course twice the price of a regular ticket. Because of the food prices that result in $10-20 per person you see people sneak in whole meals from home (I'm talking foil wrapped BBQ, spaghetti, etc.) or from the various, infinitely cheaper restaurants in the area like Burger King or White Castle.
Cleanliness isn't so great either. Pretty much every time we go here the floor in the theater is sticky and sometimes cluttered with popcorn. At times even the arm rest has been sticky, forcing us to move (nowadays I just put the arm rest up every time.) One of the last times I went to the theater in the men's bathroom someone had managed to completely fill up 2 out of the 8 or so sinks with dense, chili-esque vomit (honestly it was amazing). The floors in the stalls are usually wet because the toilets leak.
The seats in the theater aren't that comfortable and the sound in some is off-putting. I always have to check the seats for gum or any other gunk in this disgusting place.
Customer service is alright. I remember ordering a hot dog and the girl told me they weren't ready so I just paid and decided to come back later. It took 3 trips, 2 before the movie started which were 15 minutes apart. Once the movie started I was like forget it and came back afterwards. Of course the girl had gone home so I had to see if I could get someone else to give me the hot dog I paid for. It was painless, but 3 hours to get a hot dog is kinda ridiculous.
If you want to pay ridiculous prices for everything, eat inside a disgusting theater, then afterwards enjoy the chic wet floors & vomit in the bathroom this is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot much to tell. I like this AMC. I have been going there for so many years I lost count. It's always been clean and the ticket sales remain at the market level. Some locations do charge more. This location is easy to find. It is in a very spacious old mall area. Plenty of parking space still free. I'm a senior now so I rarely drive but again this AMC is within walking distance of public transportation. On the other hand the concessions charge more for popcorn than the cost of admission. Because of the years, the seats have become of age. I always check my seat for stains or tears. However l repeat management does appear to care about keeping the viewing area and restrooms respectable and in acceptable condition. For those who still enjoy going to the movies I wish you well. I was a avid movie goers in the 80s 90s and into this century for 10 years. I mean I went every week with my significant other. Now I might go if there is a blocker buster sequel getting good reviews. This time it was BLACK PANTHER WOKANDA FOREVER. I won't go into details other than to say 2 hours and 41 minutes left me unimpressed. I've seen better soap operas. The scenes took us to many areas around the country as if to make a purposeful connection with so many leaders in disagreement and authorities chasing after the wrong people. And last the black panther had died so the women had taken over government in Wokanda. This is where I stop. Except to say i plan another movie date next month to see the Avatar sequel. Happy New...
