First Chop Suey — Restaurant in Cicero

I waited to post this review so I could manage my anger and not say anything that I hadn’t thought about twice and try to be respectful.

I had my bf order for pick up. Unfortunately he ordered from the wrong 1st Chop Suey restaurant. When he came home, the food had spilled out of the very flimsy plates. When I called, to talk to someone about the problem, the person was very rude so I was surprised because our usual restaurant is very courteous. When we went to take the food back for a refund, I realized it wasn’t the place I always order from and the guy gave us an attitude but told the cashier to process the refund. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice at the time that she charged my card a second time before she processed a refund. That was pretty sneaky. By the time I noticed the double charge, a long time had passed and I figured it was too late to argue about it.

I guess the only thing I can say right now is to make sure you don’t experience the same thing I did. The positive, and the reason I gave 2 stars is because this serves as an example to always check that if the restaurant has a common name, you need to verify they are the location you’re looking for; and if you know you always get a courteous response and then all of a sudden you don’t, it should raise big red flags that you are not in the...

I have eaten from this place for many years, but its amazing how they can't recognize their customers. Their customers service its so poor. I have notice how greedy they have become even charging extra for containers that should be provided for any extras on the side that you pay for. I also notice they have food boxes on display of what is to be expected to received but the box size is not accurate for those meal specials. "How disappointing" its litarally a miniature. Food is definitely not the same. I am mind blown, "Definitely not returning". Please look at the others customers review I am grossss out, which I would of seen sooner! Yuckks!

This place is awfull I give places I go to two chances , we’ll both times they didn’t let me down I was correct! This place is awfull the Chinese rice smells burnt , the fried shrimp is fried doe and the crab ragoon the filler is so small and the doe is hard and over cook ! I wish I could find good Chinese food here in Chicago so far I tryed two spots and both are thumbs down !
