I was desperately looking for something bold and shiny that suited me. With Joanne‘s closing, I ran to Michael’s, which had an alarmingly pathetic selection. THANKFULLY, one of the women working there recommended Albany Fabrics & Variety to me. From the moment I walked in I knew this was going to be the place for me and all of my future projects. i wanted to share this amazing fabric shop in Cohoes before i forget. Jeannie/Ginny has so much joy and I had a wonderful time going through her fabrics (reasonable priced!) and notions. I have been looking for fabric to brighten up my office and impulsively stopped here and wow, was I impressed! They have a HUGE collection and Vivian could not have been nicer or more helpful. I came in close to closing but Vivian was still happy to let me look and help me find more colors once I'd zeroed in on what I wanted.
