Palace Theatre — Attraction in City of Corning

I will first tell you this place is locally owned which a huge plus for me I always try to shot locally.

This is located right on Market St which is very convenient if you are eating on in the area. This a small theater that only has 2 rooms both are not very big. However they are always clean and have nice comfortable chairs. Picture quality is just as good as Regal however I will say some of the ads before the movie need some help. It ran 3 times and never had any sounds! One HUGE PLUS is movies are 8.50 that is far cheaper than going to the Mall! The candy, drinks ect are on par with any other theater. They do accept credit cards which is really nice.

The verdict

This is the best place to see a movie in the area. It has the best price, nicest theaters, and is local owned. What more could you ask for other than maybe not having a nice...

Popcorn was too salty, the theater was freezing. I had to go out and tell the kids to turn the heat on. It stated the movie started at 8:45 but we arrived 8:20 and within 10 minutes the movie was on. Didn't see any previews which is nice to see coming attractions. For a Friday night there were only 6 people in our movie? You must do more to keep your place relevant. Offer more food selections, discount prices for veterans and their families which I didn't see on your website. At least Regal Cinemas offers food selections, plus discounts for veterans. Or AARP discounts which I did not see offered online? The 3 people that were running your theater seemed bored? I may just spend my money...

It was freezing in the theater and everyone came out complaining on how cold it was in there and come to find out they left the AC on. It is the middle of the winter and we shouldn't have had to sit through a movie while it was freezing and so uncomfortable. When I called and complained the next day they told me I was being ridiculous and that there was no possible way that it could be that cold. I was told I was a liar and there was absolutely nothing they could do about it. No one came to check on us during the movie to see how cold it was. I am absolutely out raged by the service quality. My Friends and I will not be returning after...
