Confluence Running | Corning — Local services in City of Corning

At first thought it was a good experience considering that my experience this month was not the first one. Bought shoes here before. This time the didn't have my size in the store. Instead of buying the shoes online, I thought local business can use my business. The store employee put the order. More than a week past I didn't hear from confluence so I decide to call the store. The employee answered the phone and talk me shoes arrived 3 days ago and they left me a message. The truth is, there message was nowhere to be found. I asked why didn't they email, since they have my email and regilarly send junk mails. The lady didn't not apologize and asked me to get out. Rude as she was, I will never go back. Too bad my son already bought shoes from them while I was waiting for mines. The after sale service was mediocre. Will not recommend to order through confluence, just order...

The store manager, Heather, is amazing. Having started running several years ago as a novice, and now having become someone with several ultra marathons under my belt, I have used her and her store as a resource, not only for running supplies and equipment, but as an entrance into the running community. I have gotten great help in finding the correct shoes for my feet for both road and trail running. She has proactively asked me about my running and has introduced me to supplies I didn't know I needed but have helped me alot such as: anti chaffing materials, the best socks on the market for both warmth and comfort, the best headphones, quality hydration packs that have gotten me through several ultra, and nutrition solutions. GL they occasionally host workshops, hold group runs, and have even organized racing...

I am not a runner. I never have been. I went into this shop on the recommendation of a work colleague. When I arrived it was busy, but Aiden quickly came over and greeted me and let me know he'd assist me after he helped the other customers. He then sat with me and talked about what to look for and helped me try on shoes until I found the right fit. He then suggested other items that could help as a beginner, but did not try to get me to purchase items for more advanced runners that I would not need. He was very polite, professional, and personable. He even recommended a nice, easy trail to run (which was great)Will definitely be back and recommend this shop to friends.
