Hannaford — Attraction in City of Kingston

This store NEEDS more education on service dog laws/rights, and the A.d.a! We were stalked through the store by the young security guard, argued with bc my dog was not on leash (not required if it interferes with performing tasks) and my dog was at a perfect heel. I called the mngr, she was curt, and also argued with me about it. I sincerely hope that corporate will step up and educate this location. This negative interaction triggered my ptsd, and caused me to have a medical episode.

UPDATE: Ian From corporate contacted me. He listened, validated, and apologized most sincerely. We had a nice dialog, with the best possible outcome. Not only the individuals from this store were talked to. A new service dog, Ada training policy has been implemented across the board. All employees , at all locations, will receive new training. I have not encountered one nice individual who works here. Today I went in the express lane and a woman named Kelly was at the lane. No one else was in line at this point and I had 17 items in my cart and the sign said 14. I asked her if it was okay, and after a lot of huffing and puffing she decided it was. I loaded my items on to the belt and proceeded to stand and wait awhile while she sat down, drank some water and took some pills. Finally, she rang up my items and while there were other people waiting in line behind me, stood and watched me bag all of my groceries while others waited, no help, no concern, nothing. Her demeanor was rude and annoyed as if it was an incovenience to be working here. They really need to work on the attitude of their employees here. But im guessing...

Take the extra 10 minutes and drive to the Hannaford in Town of Ulster. This is my neighborhood grocery store and I hate going to it. It is a shame that we do not have a decent grocery store in the city of Kingston. They have been renovating it for MONTHS. They should have just closed and did the renovations all at once. No one knows where anything is. Even before the forever renovation ordeal, they were always out of stuff. I will never buy fresh veggies there because everything looks dirty. I will say that the employees are excellent and have always been nice. I feel bad for them having to deal with this mess...
