Arctic Wholesale Refrigeration & Appliance Rochester — Attraction in City of Rochester

Went here today been going here for years they always had good deals key word "had" good deals. Was trying to get a nice refurbished maytag/ whirlpool washer the guy brought me over to a front load that was all scratched and scuffed up he told me the lowest he could go was 399 plus tax and the top loads they wanted just about new price for those.I laughed and told him I can go get a brand new washer at lowes for 500 600dollars and he told me no I cant and to show him the add wich I could not cause it was a month prior I had seen the washer in lowes at a scratch and dent sale still in 10 times better condition than that junk. Then had the nerve to say to me so are me gonna make a deal today or not. I said i just walked in 4 minutes cant i look around. Then him and his co worker stood in the corner of the store as if I was deaf and then proceeded to talk about how noone can buy a brand new washer at lowes for 500 600 dollars. I just walked out... save yourself the time and hassle dont go here place is trash now apparently. Go buy new you will get a 5 year warranty...

I visited the store on a Saturday to look at a washing machine. I found one that I really liked. On Saturday I was told the price was $250. I returned to the store on Monday with the intent to purchase the washing machine. I had a medical mask on when I entered the store. I asked the salesperson, how was he doing, he replied "I'm alive", (because I am wearing a mask). I asked him how much the same washing machine I inquired about on Saturday was, he quoted me a higher price, $275. I told him I was quoted $250. by someone else on Saturday, his response was, "that was Saturday." (I can't make this stuff up). He did come down to $250. then all other services appear to be ala carte: $100 for delivery, $50 to hook it up. I didn't even want to know how much it would cost to remove my old machine. Needless to say, I left. I purchased a new washing machine, for $125 more, hookup AND delivery was only $79. Just buy a new appliance!! These guys make up prices as they go they...

At first when we were looking for used equipment while our kitchen was being renovated we were happy to use Arctic for the fridge and stove. And, of course yesterday (Christmas) the fridge decided to die. Anyway, Called Arctic to have it looked at guess what....they don't service past the one year mark. But they will service before that. Makes zero sense, we were not looking for a free ride. We offered to pay for service but they will not after one year. I bet they'll be happy to sell us another used unit but that'll never happen now. We have a service guy come today from fairport to check it out. If it can be fixed great, if not well need another used fridge but will definitely not be buying it from Arctic. Kinda glad this happened because we are I Actively looking for a used set of washer / dryer now. Arctic just lost tge sale of 3 large appliances today. Not a way to treat a customer. Just when you think you can count on someone...
