This apparently is a formerly bulldozed section of probably Midtown Plaza. It is currently surfaced in crusher run gravel, so passable on foot but not for strollers, wheelchairs, or people with canes. It makes a nice open space amidst mid-rise buildings, much like a courtyard in a European baronial manner. Since it is an open space, it is a 'nice to have' (but not a 'gotta have,' because the loss of tax revenue is unjustifiable for the minor utility gained by the public) in the city, but since it's just gravel, unless there's something going on here, there's not much to see. Please consider instituting a rule against pets to protect animals as...
Read moreWe have been there 3 times for events at the Fringe festival and each time have not been disappointed at all. Great entertainment, amazing talents, music, food trucks, and lastly great people from all walks if life gathering to enjoy what our city offers. The grounds have improved greatly since our first visit. It has gone from gravel to a nicely maintained grass lawn, well done I say. This site is where the first indoor mall was built in our country then eventually repurposed for our enjoyment. There are a few benches and a bleacher but you may wish to bring a chair. Of course you could just wander around as mad take it all in. Cheers and...
