Ahh, Rochester, New York...my home sweet home. Every time I come to town, I know I stand to gain a couple, 2, 3, or more pounds. I'm on a never ending quest to find the best sandwiches in every city, and Palermo's Market in the old Sibley's building is the Sicilian sandwich equivalent to Dr. Dre's "The Chronic."
I got the split and seared chorizo sausage link sandwich, and I ain't mad at it. Nicely spiced chorizo w grilled peppers, onions, and a slice of melty cheese does me just right. Sandwiched in a nice amd chewy, soft "hard roll..." (Never can understand why thry call a soft bun a hard roll, but Iguess that will remain on of life's great unsolved mysteries.)
Grab some tuna mac salad, and kiss your own lips some of their house juice blends. This passion fruit/guava/sour sop blend has got me puckered UP.
