Ahh, Rochester, New York...my home sweet home. Every time I come to town, I know I stand to gain a couple, 2, 3, or more pounds. I'm on a never ending quest to find the best sandwiches in every city, and Palermo's Market in the old Sibley's building is the Sicilian sandwich equivalent to Dr. Dre's "The Chronic." I got the split and seared chorizo sausage link sandwich, and I ain't mad at it. Nicely spiced chorizo w grilled peppers, onions, and a slice of melty cheese does me just right. Sandwiched in a nice amd chewy, soft "hard roll..." (Never can understand why thry call a soft bun a hard roll, but Iguess that will remain on of life's great unsolved mysteries.) Grab some tuna mac salad, and kiss your own lips some of their house juice blends. This passion fruit/guava/sour sop blend has got me puckered UP. Last but not least, you gotta give a huge kudos to a crew that came up from a street side grill busting out house made recipes that grew themselves into a brick amd mortar. Plenty to be said about that!

I have been searching high and low in the Rochester area to find a restaurant that prepares your food and once you receive it looks just the picture 🖼️ on the menu. I finally found one with this market. Food is amazing they even got a soursop slushie. Palermo's food is amazing fresh ingredients, it's always made right, you can definitely tell everything is made with love. Definitely check it out it's worth your money. They are all around awesome. The picture is blurry guys I apologize was in the car and then I devoured it..lol

Palermo’s is one of the best places to eat in Rochester. It is located in The Mercantile Building on East main. If you want comfort food, delicious cheesy Mac and cheese goodness or a nice sandwich or salad, this is the place to come!!! Great service, and family friendly environment, Palermo’s is where it’s at!!

Where do I start friendly service great food! The chorizo was phenomenal, best house made chorizo I've had in Rochester (out of the few times I've had it) since I moved out here. Great kaiser choice fresh and soft. The homefries were killer! I thought they were sweet potatoes at first but after my first bite realized the color must be from the chorizo oil possibly? something but my God they were the best I've had in a hot minute. Get the chorizo, pepper and onion with Avocado spread on kaiser! Killer sandwich combo! The...
