Great market for this size market! We always find cool new stuff to cook with. Most of the vendors are totally into and knowledgeable about their products and eager to educate you on how to cook it, eat it etc. I wish there were less craft type stuff and more farmers, cooks, growers etc but that's a personal preference. Layout is perfect. Long warehouse type buildings lined up so you can start at one end of the first building, exit at the other end, move to next building, go through that one and so on through all the buildings. We usually walk through all of them once taking notes on best prices, cool idea etc, then walk back through and pick everything up. Then we're back at the car. Organized well with most of the craft vendors in one building so it's easy for us to skip that one. Nothing against crafts. It's just not why I'm at the farmers market. Don't miss it.

I loved the market and had so much fun. There were lots of fruits and vegetables, antique/vintage markets, collectibles, Christmas items and many more interesting stuff! Endless amount of vendors were inside the stalls and price was inexpensive. We end up buying so much vegetables, comics, old vinyl records, and Mediterranean breads with olive oils. Apples, honey butter nut squash, shallots, tomatoes, peppers, beets, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, sweet yam., all amazing quality. There is a store that only sells Mediterranean food and their pitas and lavash were really high quality. Will definitely come back when I come back to Syracuse. Do not miss Apple cider donut. They make it fresh and it was the best donut we ever had.

While the CNY Market (or as locals like us prefer to call it, the Farmers Market) offers a unique and enjoyable shopping experience, particularly on Saturdays, it's worth noting that not all products sold here are organic or locally sourced. This lively market is a melting pot of diverse vendors, so it's advisable to keep an eye out for local sellers. Engage with them, inquire about their produce, and ensure that what you're purchasing aligns with your preference for good, local, and organic produce. Despite the need for a bit of vigilance, a visit to the Farmers Market is a fun and potentially rewarding experience, brimming with local flavor and community spirit.

I love going to the market. There are so many choices for fresh produce. There are all kinds of squash, homegrown tomatoes, peaches. cucumbers. blueberries, all kinds of greens and lettuce, and baked goods. The only negative comment I have is that some people are not following the designated blue arrows to show you which direction to walk for everyone's safety. I would encourage everyone to go support our local farmers and small businesses while getting amazing produce and baked goods. Also be sure to check out all the non food items. Something for everyone! You won't be disappointed.

Fabulous Saturday produce! So much to choose from! Trying to eat cleaner, more raw foods, & local! Got everything I needed for my garlic rubbed, stuffed portabella caps (pictured below). Feta & bleu cheese, Sunflower shoots. One of the only places I found the heart healthy celeriac root-which is a great substitute for potatoes. EBT and cards accepted! Lots of free parking available, not sure how baseball season would affect the traffic because it is right next to the stadium.
