Insultingly bad and a literal scam, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. The people who work there were awesome - very kind and friendly. No complaints about the staff, they were all very pleasant. I am not exaggerating when I tell you it was the worst $50 I have ever spent at the mall. Go to 5Wits next door if you want a fun experience. Tried the Alice in Wonderland "Immersive" Escape Room. It was literally a single room with some Wonderland stuffed animals and whatever random stuff they pulled out of their Grandma's attic (the Queen's throne is a random chair) and a handful of really bad puzzles designed by someone who doesn't understand riddles or puzzles. I cannot stress this enough -- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I also cannot stress enough that the employees were super friendly and I'd happily buy them all a beer across the hall at Dave and Busters. I just don't want anyone else to experience the sinking feeling in the pit of their stomach that I felt as I was shut into a room and realized I had just paid someone $50 to waste 40 minutes of my time which could've been spent drinking beer across the hall at Dave and Buster's. If you want a fun experience, go to 5Wits. 5Wits is actually immersive. This business sells you on the idea that their escape rooms are going to be especially immersive, but they are LESS immersive than the escape rooms next door. Thanks again to the staff for being chill and friendly. To the owners -- please step up your game or lower the price. I can't consider this anything other than a literal scam. I feel like I was scammed out of $50 and I don't want that to happen to...
Read moreWhat a great experience! This was my first time using VR, and I’m glad I did it here. There were a number of games to choose from, and a friend and I played 2 of them: Survival and Alice in Wonderland. We started with a safety video and practice course to learn the controls, which were easy. You can either sit or stand in place to play. Survival was listed as a medium difficulty game, but it was relatively easy and took about 45min for us. Alice was much more challenging and took 60min. Both were unique and immersive and required you to use clues and learn by trial and error. The owner and other staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge and equipment were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would recommend only playing 1 game at a time if it’s your first time with VR. We started to feel nauseous after about 1.5hrs playing because we weren’t used to the sensation. It was so worth it, though, and I’d definitely...
Read moreOn the Friday night, a group of feeble minded ruffians like us were seeking an adventure. Stumbling upon the Immersive Escape, our neurons were firing harder than an average California gender reveal party and our sparse brain cells cheered with the overwhelming joy. Upon entering this fine establishment, we were greeted by a friendly host named Kylee. Like a Prometheus bringing fire to ancient Greeks, she brought the light into our misguided souls through a wonder of knowledge and the miracle of virtual reality. The childlike happiness engulfed us for entire duration of time we spent in Immersive Escape and carried onto our trip back home, all due to titanic efforts and...
