I don't see me ever going back to this movie theater.
First, it's a pain in the neck to get there. Secondly, you have to pay for parking.
Neither of those things would be a problem if the experience inside the theater was a better one:
When I first entered there was no clear direction to where I can scan my pre-purchased ticket. There were people roaming around who clearly worked there, but no one offered to help me. There were also no signs or podiums to guide me to a particular area. I wandered over to a bank of computer screens. The set up looked like they were available if you wanted to purchase tickets, but that was also unclear. There was also another bank of computer screens in front of a counter and there was actually a woman standing behind it. Almost like a row of cash registers. I looked over at her & she looked back at me. She was clearly not interested in assisting me so I continued to roam. I finally walked past a small group of people who worked there but their positions were unclear. Finally, a young lady asked me if I had a ticket. She said it's so low that I didn't actually know what she was asking me. She repeated herself and I said yes, and showed her my e-ticket. She then scanned it and said theater #1. I asked her to please point me in the right direction and she did.
I went and ordered an $8 hot dog, and really bad popcorn. I've never been to a movie theater where I didn't like the popcorn. The popcorn had lots of hard and unpopped kernels. Once again I found myself roaming the place looking for the butter stuff. I couldn't find it anywhere so I went back to a young man that helped me and asked him where it was. Sadly, the butter stuff didn't make the popcorn any better. I a little bit and threw the rest of it in the garbage.
The screen was way too big for that small theater! I sat in seat #D1 and found it to be far too close for comfort. Due to the show being reservations only, I didn't want to take the chance moving to another seat and the person shows up late. So I sat uncomfortably the entire 2-hour movie. My suggestion if you're going there is to sit in the middle four seats, but further up. Otherwise you're going home with a sore neck. Lastly, I had a hard time hearing the movie. That...
Read moreWhere do I even begin. We went on Black Friday for a 7:10pm Moana 3D. No big deal, bought our tickets online, chose great seats and done. What we try ought was going to be a smooth easy movie night.. Wrong! We get there and there’s massive crowds, like you couldn’t even walk. So we waited on a very long line just to get our tickets scanned to then be in to purchase snacks and get to our seats. By the time we get to check in, they ran out of 3D glasses, terrible. She still said we can watch it but what’s the point? Went over the another line to switch to a regular showing even tho I paid for 3D tickets. Ok, went to see if we can get into the regular Moana movie for 7:40. Seats gone, only handicap seating and not together so our party was spilt up. But we had no other choice. Cool but we were very bummed about that but the show must go on. Now after all the chaos from checking in, waiting on lines. Changing tickets, it’s close to 7pm and the food lines are out of control. Long story short, we waited over an hour to purchase snacks. I had to send my dad in with my daughter to start watching the movie while we ordered. By the time we got up to order, they had sold out of cookies for the kids boxes, Moana buckets, pretzels and the cashier was shouting. ‘NO MORE POPCORN’. Wth, insane! It was a zoo! Lines were crazyyy and movie like turtles. Finally get our cold popcorn, drinks with no lids and we were beyond frustrated, especially since the movie has already started. We get in, and boom! Someone is in our assigned seats. Like c’mon. Had to get them to move while again, Missing more of the movie. The entire palace was a zoo and a mess. Food. Trash and garbage everywhere. Such a terrible experience. I have videos for them was from that day but it’s only allowing me to upload pictures. I would 100% give zero...
