Never have I had a supervisor tell me it is fine if I want to go somewhere else for our office supplies but this manager did.
We purchased an item on line that was awful and when my wife took it back to the staples in Jeffersonville the associate wouldn't take it back. She couldn't pull the order up or take a return ..... she didn't call over a manager just tried to struggle with it on her own. Said she couldn't get an order number or see the order YET I am looking here at the order the associate herself printed out, instead she gave my wife an 800 number and said give them a call. My wife is a very mild person, she took it all in, was not happy but not willing to argue. If I was there I would not have left until I had a refund or spoke to the manager. When I called he initially lied and said they couldn't do anything because my wife didn't have the order number, from there the conversation got heated.
The end result was we didn't get the product refunded and I vowed to not do business with that Staples store again and the manager said basically "good".
The staff at this store is incompetent and the manager certainly not equipped to handle...

Read moreWent in to buy a few things (pens, planners, etc), and to check on prices of motorized desks as well as chairs. Starters, the place was in disarray entirely. Looked like a tornado had hit inside. So really hard to find anything. But I found at least 4 small items. Then found only 1 motorized desk, not operational of course. And, no price. So I take a pic of the SKU number, etc. Then chairs. Found a couple I liked, but settled on one. Grabbed the sales slip for it and went to checkout. HA! Young guy at counter could hardly speak English, let alone speak. At all. As if scared. He radios to the back, "anyone in the back? Customer needs a chair." 3 times. Another customer comes up and asks if he could get help with chairs. I told him we're waiting on just that. He's all 'wow.' We both go back and find a woman who tells out they're out of it and others. I sat down my items and told her to keep it all. Other guy told her he'd take the display chair. "We can't sell it." He walks out also. We both agreed to purchase from AMAZON and have it delivered to our doors. Save your...
