Went there 3 times in past 2 weeks. Think that sums up the food part lol ๐ Food taste great even for frozen food it's good. Lunch specials are great and they have a BOGO on some pastas. Nice place for a meet and greet. Average prices, but you do have to ask for your wine sample of the day as they will only give it if asked, at least at this location. She actually asked exactly what kind do you want? Guess we should've known then to get up and ask for a different table with a different server. Cons -- first waitress was awesome, first time.. Next waitress ok, second visit. Third waitress horrible, at last experience She actually had the nerve to say here's your bill, you can just pay me, as she stood there. Excuse me? If you're not going to order anything else your keeping me from making money. Hmmm there just went your tip. People tip accordingly If they're great let them know it If they're average, let them feel it If they're horrible hit'm where it hurts Tired of ones that think the world owes them as they do nothing, but walk around with their hands out. We all have problems. Some more than others, but leave it at the door when arriving at work. We've all worked in the business at some time or another if just to bring in some extra income during holiday season But it's time to quit feeling sorry for them and start letting it hit'm where it counts. Maybe and that's a big MAYBE, they'll pull it together or go get in another field. Honestly don't understand why people are in customer service jobs/careers if they don't like people Some of us are very ill and as we have procedures done it's where ones want to go after one is released just to sit and enjoy each other's company. This could be the only time we get out, being picked up from the hospital, or taken there. Getting all cleaned up before leaving home or the hospital makes it where you just want to thank the person toting you around. Sitting or staying with you. Thinking going to start taking them for pedicures/manicures. Be a little less traumatizing upon leaving. Like being happy, life's short and don't like the way some help ruins it for you no matter how hard you try not to let them invade your mindset. Some of us are excellent tippers, but some of them are making it very hard. Actually beginning to make it easy to just stop tipping anything at all if they're none deserving as not my circus, not my monkeys!! This Olive Garden could be a very enjoyable place if they'd get rid of some of the ones that don't wish to be there in the first place. Good is good. I've never left referring anything I've ever ordered. Well I don't care for their chicken marsala but I'm sure that's a personal preference. Everything else I've had yum. Sad thing is I'm afraid their going to be following Damon's, Shoneys, O'charleys, Rocky's right out of the state in that order due to service problems. No matter how cheap you try to make it to get people to come in, in the end some of us would rather pay higher prices to enjoy our experience as we don't get out that often... 3 stars is the average between food, help, bathroom cleanliness & manager response (acts like he's stoned, drunk or asleep with...
ย ย ย Read moreMy family doesn't live close to an Olive Garden, so when we have to go somewhere that has one close by, we always go there to eat before we head home. Most of the time we order extra just to take it home with us. Lol. The food was amazing...as always. The only complaint I have is: my fiance started giving the waitress our order, starting with my fave, the lasagna (it was made known that it was for me, an adult). Next, I gave her our 3y/o daughter's order (cheese ravioli w/ meat sauce), because I picked her meal. My fiance gave his order last (alfredo, or something like that). I guess our waitress thought I was changing my order when I gave our daughter's order next because she only brought out the last 2 meals (alfredo & ravioli). We thought mine was just taking longer, but when it never came out, we asked if we could get the lasagna. She said she would put the order in. After she put it in, she came back to our table and said she never put the order in because she thought I wanted the ravioli instead. There were 3 people in our party so why would she think we only wanted 2 meals? That's why we ordered 3 different meals...well, we tried to. We told her to just put it in a to-go box because I was already sharing my daughter's food with her (if I would have waited, I would have been eating alone). When the lasagna came and we got our receipt, we noticed that she had given me a child's lasagna meal! We made it known - a couple times - that it was for me, not our child! Smh. So, our waitress left out a meal on our order, then brought us a kid's meal instead of the lunch plate I ordered. I would expect to get some kind of discount or a free item for the mistake, if anything. I was given half the food instead of half the price. I would have been happier to get my full-sized ADULT meal with no discount. We expected her to correct her mistake (we would have been happy with just that), but in the process, she made another one...and not once was anything offered to make up for...
ย ย ย Read moreI usually start my review with 5 stars, but can't do that on this visit. We headed for Olive Garden and called ahead to see what the wait was. Wifey asked if we could be on the wait list and was told we didn't need to because there was no wait. It was about 10 minutes before 4pm. When we arrived 10 minutes after calling there was a 20-25 minutes wait. My wife gave her name and phone number to host. We had plenty of seating to wait, at that time. After waiting about 30 minutes and seeing people come in, wait and be seated before us, wifey asked a host how long to be seated and she was told we were not even on the list. I asked for a Manager who was standing with 3 or 4 hosts. His name is Matt. Matt, the Manager heard me tell what happened and gave me a smug, bored look and unapologetically told me they could take our name NOW. I told him they already had 2 opportunities to take our name and number and failed. We sat in the lobby for 30 minutes when we were told the wait was 20-25 minutes. I reminded Matt that we were told before 4 pm there was no wait and didn't need to give name. He said there was no wait at 4pm. Now Matt said we could wait another 20-25 MORE minutes. I told Matt, the Manager that was unacceptable. People came in the restaurant after us and were seated before us. We were 1 of many groups of 4 during the time we sat and waited. I would never visit Olive Garden again, knowing Matt was in charge. He has no concern for customer service. I don't recall ever meeting a manager with such disregard. Today OG scores as...
