I was disappointed with the service I got today. Usually they are kind workers but all I did was kindly ask if they could put a special request on my order to make sure the food was fresh out of the fryer and I explained that I did not mind waiting and she said, “yea I don’t think we can do that”and went to get her manager and the manager was a lady and she was not very friendly about the situation and said rudely, “I have no idea when we will be dropping fresh nuggets again so we can’t do that.” I explained that as long as the food was fresh I didn’t mind getting what was available but I just wanted to make sure because I’ve had a couple bad experiences over the years. I’ve had way more good experiences than bad but I just wanted to make sure. They treated me like I was crazy and a burden and it confused me because I am very timid and was kind about it all.
I had a friend who worked here two years ago and she’s the one who told me about the special request thing and how you can request it to be made fresh out the fryer. So when I lived here I did it a lot but I moved away two years ago and haven’t been to this location since. I just find it weird that the manager said what she said as if she can’t drop an order of nuggets for me. My whole life I’ve done fast food and restaurant industry work so unless they have some weird rule they have changed here or they can only drop a whole bag of nuggets at once it doesn’t make sense.
I just wish people were better at communicating and better with customer service skills because I wasn’t asking much and was very kind so I feel like they could have handled it way better and more professional. Especially as a manager. That kind of shocked me to see a manager get frustrated and upset over such a small request. 🤷♀️ I’m not hating on chic fil a. They have great food and usually good service.
There will always be a few bad apples anywhere you go but management is VERY important at every business. Depending on how management handles things will immensely affect the other workers and show them how they should handle things. It’s important to be a leader and show a professional way to handle things with great customer service.
Where I live they have a foosacklys and it’s the best management team I have ever seen. I have NEVER came across a rude or annoyed worker there and I have never gotten food that is cold. It’s always piping hot out of the fryer because the management holds strict expectations there. Those are the businesses I love supporting. Ones that truly care about good service and making sure that the money we’re spending is worth it and that we always get fresh food. I’ve never in my life came across another business that is managed that well with such high standards. Many fast food places give out old food all the time and aren’t held accountable. Many places I’ve worked I have been scolded for trying to throw food away when the timer goes off which is what I was trained to do but managers would say to press it again even though there is a bucket to put the food in to weight at the end of the day for food that was not used after the timer expired they did not want us throwing food away even though the safety videos told us to do just that.
I strive for perfection when I work somewhere and I give the service that I would want. I know I want fresh food so I want to give that to others. Managment has to lead...
Read moreRead moreEverything!! The Drive-Thru is my main way to get the good food, but indoors is just as awesome, too. It's just a small diff in quickness, but sit down is supposed to be more laid back & their not a quick-trick, fast food place that's slow or whatev... it just not as fast as outside. But accurate orders in a timely manner is the best to ask for & it's really better this way!! But, they've instituted a quicker Drive-Thru method where the Menu Board works on one order, while a person outside does there cat behind it. There's a 2nd Drive-Thru line that also does it that way. When it gets busy, that's when this policy happens EXCEPT... When the Menu Boards aren't working correctly or are out if service, or it's too busy that way! ... Then, the person goes car to car in order down the line. The Pick up & pay orderalso changes. A car at the window pays & there's also 2 people outside going to the cars behind it, getting pay & having cars go to two designated pickup stations far up front of a main window & other is to the right pull up to cones, the same way to wait. One major change this has over the many other Drive-Thru's & before placing order at either the window or w/the person taking your order, so when you get to the window|person for pay|pickup, you say your name 1st, then give the Payment method(s) before getting your food. At the beginning of this a couple to a few yrs ago when this 1st began, last week was the very 1st mess-up I've EVER gotten!! EVER!! I think; Instead of fries I got someone else's fruit cups. So I'm not sure if the person getting my bag for delivery & the other person getting another car's bag to their car, picked up the secondary bag w/fries & one w/cups were mixed up only buzz the window, ALSO had two bags, line both waiting vehicles. So, I want so upset to go back, even if I could... or just let it go, like I did. It was only a mistake and I'm as human as the offender if this mistake was, and I'm hoping other cars were just as forgiving. I found out after I got home, but I had the main reason to go to Chick-fil-A in there 1st place- Their delicious 4 pack of Chicken Fillets... both of them. I'm sorry this was so long but I had to show you that there was a reason, to make this review give you not only my News of note of the staff and restaurant as well as one of my many personal experiences at THIS SITE. I personally, have been a regular customer to either of the two Clarksville Stores which were on each sides of the Restaurants Clarksville. It really began at the Greetree Mall while working at Walgreens. When I quit just b4 the Walgreens moved over to Eastern Blvd and Lewis & Clark Across from McD's. I started going to CFA, or Chick-fil-A, over on Veteran's Pkwy when my Dr moved to new ofc & he's the Boss now so, it's closer to I•64 right off, onto I•65, so it's not as far as it was & I have extra time to get home, I was able to stop on the way & still get home early than ever b4. I have that new system to Thank for that, & is anotherreason I love that CFA on Veteran's Pkwy so much! I totally reccomend it from my own experience & point of view!! A Review...
Very aggravated... Went to hair today after lunchtime to get something to eat for me and my son and my daughter who I’m getting ready to pick up from school... How is excited to find there was nobody in line (usually it’s a wait). When I went to place my order I noticed that they had mac & cheese (I’m not sure how I missed that before but I usually order the same thing every time)... But I decided this time that we would get two meals and substitute to the fries for mac & cheese... I specifically asked the girl (the never says substitute) specifically If there was an up charge to switch the...if there was an up charge to switch the fries for mac & cheese And she said no. So I proceeded with my order I got three meals with a milkshake and after the lady told me my total I was already starting to pull away and I thought what in the world cost $30? We always get the same thing every time in our total is usually around $25... So I thought for sure they had rang me up wrong. As I proceeded to pull up to the window there was a young man standing outside and I Told him that something was wrong with my order that it came up to be too much and I wanted to know what she rang me up for.
He politely said you can ask the manager he’s right there at the window he can help you... So that is what I did I asked the manager what I was being charged for and he proceeded to read me back my order correctly.... I asked him why it was so much I said the only thing we have done differently please get mac & cheese instead of fries, I said is there an up charge for that and he said oh yeah there’s a big up charge?? He was not very friendly at all in fact it made me feel like I was bothering him for questioning I’m about my order... I didn’t proceeded to tell him the girl that is on the headset that is taking orders told me specifically there was no up charge... He didn’t say a word he didn’t apologize all he said after a brief silence was There is an app charge for mac & cheese your total is $30.. (and some change)... regardless if there was an issue or not I believe that the manager was very rude he was not friendly he didn’t say hello how are you today I’m sorry about the trouble will try to fix this mistake next time... And then I went ahead and said OK that’s fine I’ll go ahead and pay for whatever he didn’t even speak to meOr say have a nice day... I just can’t believe my experience... Let’s just say if I’m gonna spend $30 somewhere I’m gonna have somebody say thank you...
