Order take out, tried to call the store back for over an hour and was placed on hold no one ever answered my call, I ordered spinach dip, and a kids meal steak (medium rare) and a loaded baked potato. The steak was well done and the spinch dip container was over 1/2 empty. This is the second time I have got an order from there was ended up going to the trash. First time I thought it was because they was busy but this was right after they opened and was not busy. Luckily this time it was only about 23 dollars last time it was 143 dollars that went in the trash. And to think this use to be my go to restaurant.

Just left this place and will say appetizers A+, loved the spinach dip and onion pedals, salad was really good as well. Now come to the entree, I got the longhorn which is a porterhouse, cooked medium rare. The steak had a weird texture to it and a lot of grissle and was able to only eat maybe 3 bites of it. I tried my wife's outlaw ribeye cooked rare and was even worse. I'd have to say for cheaper steakhouses would prefer texas roadhouse or outback. Hope the dogs will eat it

We visiting Louisville, KY, and the family took us to this Longhorn steakhouse. I had a bad experience before with Longhorn steakhouse in NY but, our experience at this steakhouse was exceptional! We had heard that AA were not treated well in Clarkesville, but our waitress was very friendly and put us right at ease. Our drinks and our dinner orders were taken quickly. The appetizers and our main courses were fresh and hot. I would highly recommend this restaurant.😊

We come here every week. My man loves the ribs and I the filet. He used to get the prime rib but they are down to two sizes now and not much seasoning. Plus they just seemed not to be able to get either steak done right. I even got to the point of saying, "filet the filet" and then it was like leather. He got to where he just took it home to finish cooking as he doesn't like to send things back knowing what goes on in some places on returned food. But like the gentlemen said, "I thought steak places were supposed to know how to cook steaks"! This is when he started getting ribs and I switched to the pecan side salad. I love it. I do like to ask for extra toppings and the male bearded bar tender likes to charge a $1.49 each. Funny thing is I was just talking to the manager about how all of Clarksville restaurants are nickel and diming people over bread that coast like $.02 to make a bun. Then told him how they don't even charge for xtra toppings and it was appreciated that one gentlemen tried to charge and my man wasn't having it; so rather than taking them back, he said this time only! We had a nice talk as we are stuck in a motel because I come up for seeing Drs because I have MS and have ran into some problems so have been stuck here a year. Therefore we have are at all the nearby restaurants in Clarksville Jeffersonville and understand why Clarksville has such a hard time with restaurants starting in business... It's because they want to nickel and dime customers about biscuits when if you are in the restaurant you would get for free and longhorn doesn't do this even with the toppings . That basically they are the only real restaurant we eat at anymore . He told me i could have as much bread as I wanted and I laughed and said no one loaf is fine, just starting facts. As he walked off this bartender guy said I should charge you a $1.49 each for those. I stared at him and thought you just heard your manager, how dare you? The next time I went in nothing was on the salad and the portion was cut in half basically leaving the box of four salads half full, four pieces of fruit and no cheese or pecans on it (therefore no extra) it was on the side as I had asked for extra. So just got the original amount of half a ramican. Like this dude gets a charge of running the show as he heard his MANAGER state that one night, "we aren't going to charge for little things when someone is spending good Money; especially as often as you come in. The whole point of getting the Xtra put on the side is that you see that you got extra; as that was the problem in the beginning. They didn't put any Xtra cheese or pecans on it and what is put on to begin with was very little. So now you see it. But this time they put nothing io the salad but four pieces of fruit and yes I counted it as the previous time it was so great. Lots of everything but I guess because the manager was standing over then. Just really upset that they cut the portion in half and put no cheese or pecans on it and thought by putting it on the side as extra I wouldn't notice and they did all four this way . This was a girl who talked to the guy and I even said he is the rudest person I've ever dealt with and flat out tried to go over his manager authority until I asked, "would, you like me to call him back?". This is why the four stars. Stay away from the brown hair bearded bartender/waiter and you'll be fine. Ask for the manager if there is a problem as this is the best restaurant in town and I hate to think when I return they will be gone over trivial bs from the help that don't like people. I'm a tipper and thought I'd just quit tipping if this is how they are going to act as in all honesty what do they do? Fill some ramicans and put in a bag... Please!!! Best restaurant in Clarksville just need to work on...

I just left longhorn steakhouse and Jeffersonville Indiana on veterans Parkway had one of the worst experiences from a manager a waitress then Ive ever had in my life 61 years and never have had a manager treat me the way I was just treated or a waitress.! My waitress's name was Caitlin, The manager's name was Francis I ordered the sirloin steak with 8 rock Shrimp, I ask that my sirloin be medium well right at the pink she said no problem.we ordered the appetizers the wings they were quite good at that point we waited for our food .At that time ,we received our food ,I looked at my steak and I could tell it was overcooked it had really dark edges showing it was over cooked I cut it in half, she looked at it and she said good perfect pink walks away I looked at the steak there was no pink in it at all it was dry ,had no flavor never said a word. Caitlin return to our table to collect the money for the meal she said was everything all right .no my the steak was dry and was not eatable . At that point I told her I was not going to tip her I would pay the $40 for the meal did what no comps from a manager please take $40 and we be on our way At that point Kaitlyn bent over the table looking at me and asked me why I was not going to tip her it was not her fault And I said yes it was your fault you're the person in between me and the kitchen cooking my meal I am specific in what I told you I wanted when you brought the steak out you should have clearly seen it was overcooked you did not stick around the let me show you it was. At that point she left the table the manager came over did not introduce herself I asked her who she was she said her name was Francis She was the manager I told her what had happened and my feelings on the matter and that is why was not going to tip my waitress but I would pay for the food I did not want any comps I ordered it I will pay for it. At that point she proceeded to borate me And talk down to me I did not have a right to speak to her waiters like that which I was not rude nor polite to this waitress are impolite she on the other hand was rude and very impolite to me leaning over the table and getting in my face while I was trying to finish my meal but this manager . Francis said I should have took the correct measure which was to have the mgr call over and then tell her my displeasure and then she could have corrected it I don't know about you but I have the freedom of speech in America people today seem to think everybody should be PC and how they talk to someone this waiters might do a better job with her next customers that she has in listening to what they need and want their food to be like when it is delivered to them at the table at the end of the meal she expects a 25 to 50% tip why should we as consumers do this for our waitresses. I know this is a long statement about longhorns in Jeffersonville Indiana but this restaurant was really not a pleasant place to have been to this evening. The manager there needs to understand the needs of the Customer. We appreciate and respect when our waitress does a good job for us we tip accordingly but when you can't speak your mind when you're ask if everything was all right and then your borated the way me and my wife were because I spoke up and told her the way I felt . Ck was played in full no comps. P.s I will start reading the reviews. 2 bad ones about the...

my family and I dined for lunch on Labor Day. we have always enjoyed the food and service here. This day the place was not very crowded. Only had to wait 15 min to be seated. Unfortunately, the seat we were given was right up front by the entrance and a high traffic area, people constantly running past us, and there was a large family seated next to us, about 15 people who were obnoxiously loud, made the atmosphere so uncomfortable, plus the music was loud too. My family and I could barely have conversation because of the noisy family next to us. We ordered our steaks cooked medium and a shrimp order with no seasoning. my steak arrived well done, not medium, his steak was so tough he could not cut it with a steak knife nor chew it, and her shrimp was covered in Cajun seasoning. the mgr. made everything right. I showed her my steak without saying anything and she immediately said "oh that's not medium". We showed her how hard it was to cut the steak and showed her the cajun covered shrimp. she had everything remade and even took a big chunk off the total bill. totally saved the visit and made us want to go back. The redo food was great. Steak was medium-rare to medium which was fine, his steak was much better and easier to cut and chew, (we suspected she may have switched to a better cut of meat) and the shrimp was not seasoned, as ordered. After the wait we did finally enjoy our meal, once the noisy family beside us left. It's too bad people cannot be considerate of others when dining out; the entire restaurant does not want to hear your stories. They were loud before the drinks came, and only got louder, seeming to enjoy the attention. The entire restaurant all sighed relief when they left. We appreciate the mgr taking care of the food blunders. We will return. Next time will ask for a table away from the front door and...
