SCAM ALERT! Whenever I thrift I like to look for rare Nike/Jordan sneakers. The other day I came upon some gently used Nikes here that if authentic would be worth anywhere from $1,000-$3,000. Goodwill had them listed for $320, which if authentic is a great deal. I asked to look at the sneakers and I ran them through a verification process for authenticity. Ultimately, the sneakers were confirmed to be replicas (fake). I advised the manager that $320 is not a fair price due to the sneakers being replicas. She advised the best she can do is knock $20 off still making the sneakers $300. I advised her that a BRAND NEW pair of this model replica sneaker is only valued at $160. She was firm on $300 and put the sneakers back on the shelf. Note to all sneaker collectors! Beware of replica Ben & Jerry’s Nike Dunks for sale at this location! I will attach a picture of the proof that they are not real.

I used to donate here all the time and also shopped here a lot. The prices have gotten so out of hand. There are a few gem of employees in the store, however one manager/supervisor? was so rude. There was two plushies I grabbed and at the office asked how much, they said $9.99 for the 15 inch pride Minnie but didn’t provide a price tag. When I got to the register on the other side of the store I told the girl how much and she grabbed a manager/sup who said “it’s $14.99”. I stayed to her what I was told and she said “Regular employees don’t have authority to price things”. I told her it was someone in the office. Her response “All our Disney plushies are $14.99”. I decided not to buy it. When I got to my car, I search up the same Minnie, Walmart has her for $16.68….. I won’t be donating to them again and likely won’t be shopping at here much any more. Employees need to do better.

RANT : Clermont Goodwill. I stopped going to the Winter Garden Goodwill location months ago. They started almost DOUBLING their prices, which is just insane to me. So I kept going to the Clermont location instead. Unfortunately over the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that they are switching to the same outrageous prices as Winter Garden. And these are not even nice items! Clothing with stains, ripped decals, holes… I’m sorry $5.99 for a toddler pajama top?! Not the pajama set, just a random top? I used to donate to this location since it’s the closest to my home. I will be making the extra drive to Unforsaken Treasures or New Beginnings, because they are not greedy and actually have their donations profiting for a good cause.

This goodwill was good, EXCEPT FOR THE MANAGER JOSH! it's too expensive FOR USED STUFF!! Theu have a color of the week, which gives you 50% OFF, which the color is the tag. My tag on item I got was green, as the color of week was. But they wouldn't gove me it 50% OFF because in little print it said yellow in corner of tag. Hmm, a green tag, a green plastic connector connecting tag to item, than they write yellow in small print... ?? And manager Josh says THEY have to go by what's written on the tag!! Sorry, didn't know it was WORD of the day instead of COLOR of the day. An associate said THEY ran out of yellow tags, so the manager Josh advised them to use whatever color tag and wrote yellow on it!! Deceiver that Josh is. Nice lady ringing me up felt bad cause she said this happened to many others that month, and JOSH wouldn't approve the 50% OFF probably due to his bad judgement call costing too much money. Bad managers make bad decisions amd lose customers. THEY MARK USED SHOES FOR KIDS TO 29.00+ THEY MARK UP anything nice to a price you can almost find new shoes for at ROSS! 3 years ago this store was 2.99 for any mens shirts, now they mark them up even to 14.99 for some because it has a name brand, even with a stain! Sad. Nonprofit? Thats a lie straight from the their father the devil himself!! Been going there for years in Clermont here, but my wife and I find ourself LEAVING to shop at ROSS more often for NEW CLOTHS AND SHOES for same price and even cheaper when clearanced. BEWARE. I GIVE TO ST VINCENT'S THRIFT STORE NOW and NEW BEGINNINGS. THEY actually are affordable used stuff and give back free to the poor community!! Even a sale for all mens and young man's cloths for $1 each now because of school, shop at st comments and NEW BEGINNINGS. I asked a cashier who worked there for over a year my wife and I know, and she said the same thing. THEY ARE getting greedy because many name brand cloths and stuff are given to them! GO to ROSS for NEW almost same price in good sales. This place had a used schwinn bike for sale more than what eBay has it with shipping!! Trust me, you may get lucky on a find, but they mark up anything they know may be of value beyond what any thrift store I ever seen. Greedy. Greedy. Greedy. And poor service YOUNG manager JOSH it a MAN CHILD. He looks like he is 20 and acts like 15 in front of customers. why is the color of the day now the WORD of the day? Lying DECEIVERS with Josh running that show. His true colors shown over 2 bucks off one shirt. It was the principle that made me pity him and that store. Big green tag on green week and JOSH said don't mark it 50% OFF to the register lady. She couldn't, but apoligized and said she knows he...

1* star Review done 04/30/19, I bought a white watch that was functioning and was water resistant yesterday for $12:99 and a radio for $7:99 in a Goodwill store in Eustis, Florida! We were told that they had a 1 week guarantee with the receipt of the buy in any store by the employee if they had any malfunction! When I arrived home the watch malfunctioned with no hour nothing in the screen! Also the radio was filthy and I removed the price tag to clean it and the radio also malfunctioned! So I told my wife to go with the receipt of what we payed on both items as we where told to do to get store credit and then buy clothes for my wife equal the $$ Spent yesterday! THE EMPLOYEE CALLED THE SUPERVISOR AND SHE TOLD MY WIFE THAT ALTHOUGH SHE HAD THE RECEIPT OF THE STORE PURCHASE FROM YESTERDAY WE HAD TO HAVE THE PRICE TAGS OF THE ITEMS TO CLAIM CREDIT! ALSO THE SUPERVISOR TOLD MY WIFE THAT IN THE EUSTIS STORE THEY SOLD THE WATCH ON THE CATEGORY OF JEWELRY AND NOT AS A WATCH AND ALSO DUE TO THAT COULD NOT GIVE CREDIT FOR THE WATCH! MY WIFE TOLD THE SUPERVISOR THAT IT WAS NOT OUR PROBLEM THAT THEY CLASSIFIED THE WATCH AS A JEWELRY INSTEAD OF A WATCH AND SHE DID NOT CARE! SHE ALSO SAID THAT THE WATCH WAS FULL OF WATER ALTHOUGH THE WATCH SAID IT WAS WATER RESISTANT! IT IS INCREDIBLE THAT GOODWILL STORES WITH THE PRESENCE OF THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT OF THE STORE PURCHASE DOES NOT ACCEPT THIS FOR CREDIT WITH MALFUNCTIONING ELECTRONIC AND WATCHES AND OTHER STORES IN AMAZON, EBAY, WALMART, PUBLIX, BEST BUY, SEARS, JC PENNEY AND ALL STORES I KNOW IF YOU HAVE YOUR ORIGINAL RECEIPT OF THE STORE PURCHASE THEY HONOR THE GUARANTEE EITHER BY CREDIT OR CASH OR REPLACING THE ITEM WITH A NEW ONE! I WILL NOT RECCOMEND ANY GOODWILL STORE! NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAD TO THROW TO THE TRASH THE RADIO AND THE WATCH AND LOSS OF $20! MY WIFE BOUGHT A $4 ROSARY AND THE EMPLOYEE ASKED IF SHE COULD DONATE THE CHANGE TO CHARITY AND SHE TOLD HER NO BECAUSE SHE ALREADY DONATED...

What kind of scam is this store running???? I have donated to goodwill for years and will never donate another item to them again. To the man and his crew that are resellers and there every single day (you know who you are) that stand where the carts come out and rudely block anyone from getting by or seeing new items coming out..shame on you. You ruin everyone else’s time trying to peacefully shop for items they need with your Google lens out screaming at each other. It’s VERY clear that certain employees are in on whatever gig he’s running. His 5 carts were blocking the area to get to the books and baskets and I heard him say people hate me but I don’t care. I asked the older woman who I have seen many times specifically bring things out to him.. if he’s there every day and why this is allowed and she told me to mind my own business!!!! I was there yesterday and he was there again w several carts full of Disney items and the older woman came out from the back with an office chair and went right over to him and said it’s priced at $25 but you can get more for it…he grabbed it and immediately took out Google lens..how is this fair to people shopping there that need items for their house, kids, family, etc?! Even worst is now they were more resellers doing the same thing he does so I couldn’t get down any houseware aisles bc all their carts were lined up. This is a disgusting display and should be absolutely banned by upper management but I’m going to assume that it’s allowed bc they get a cut or are in on the scam themselves. Shame..I donate items all the time and will never give goodwill a...
