I enjoyed the entertainment but the evening we attended there were torrential rains, lightening and a tornado watch ( we didn't know about the tornado watch until later)... We stood in the pouring rain up almost to our ankles for about an hour! We already had tickets.. They could have let us into the cover amphitheater and/or the additional covered pavilion.. They knew it was going to rain and they had no contingency plan... Most of the concert goers were upwards of 55 yrs of age... The customer service for Cain Park was awful! No consideration for their guests..the concert goers.. A lot of people left.. I stayed even though my shoes and clothes were soaking wet...even with my large umbrella.. Read moreThis is a fantastic venue, a baby blossom on the most unexpected of places in Cleveland Heights. This little gem isn't the easiest to navigate so make sure to get there early enough to snag a prime parking spot. The bathrooms are insanely clean, which is not something I would normally call out BUT that's how much it stood out. The venue isn't exactly ready for heavier shows, lack of security or any sort of eyes on the "pit" area could lead to some problematic instances but everyone at the show I attended stayed safe and managed to not hurt themselves or each other. Would absolutely love to go to more shows with the family...
Read moreI love the Cain Park Summer Concert series! There is always something for everyone! Last night concert was fantastic! Trombone Shorty and Big Boi were amazing! I came for Big Boi, not knowing much about Trombone Shorty; needless to say I left big fans of both artists! The staff/volunteers at Cain Park are always friendly and accommodating. The facility is always clean. There are several vendor options available for food and drinks and you can bring in your own food and 1 bottle of water per guest. Great venue for family or just hanging...
