20% automatic gratitude added to the bill just makes the service not want to try and it was pretty apparent on my visit today. After being seated and waiting for nearly 10 minutes, our server finally came over. I originally was going to order the apple cider margarita but when I asked if it was frozen and was told no and they did not even have a blender, I said okay I don't want it and to just give me a water instead. When she came back, everybody else drinks was there except for my water and I had to tell her again that I needed a water after food was ordered. The free popcorn that was on the table was finished by the kids quickly and she didn't offer or bring any more. I went to the restroom and the toilet was clogged from a #2. When I walk back to the table, I saw the popcorn was sitting out, and it said do not touch it was not self-service. Michael Myers was messing with my child so he asked for popcorn since he was walking around messing with people and he brought it back. While awaiting for the food, the manager brought out the apple cider margarita for me and I had to tell him that I told the server since it was not frozen I did not want one . The Food came out surprisingly not very long after being ordered however, our server was MIA and we needed refills on everything as well as ranch and blue cheese. My fries were also cold, and the other fries on other plates were warm so I was going to ask for new fries since everybody else was fresh and mine were obviously old. After waiting waiting she never return I got frustrated and left the table to find a manager and when I did, I told him that are serving never returned after getting the food and we needed quite a few items. Instead of apologizing or asking where we were sitting, just gave me a dumb look and stared. I then look back and saw that our server finally came back and I told him to just forget it. After she brought out fresh fries, I was frustrated at this point told her just to bring me a box. After getting the box and getting the check what do you know, Margarita was still on the check. Now she has to come back again with a other check and she did take the burger off my bill as well but only because I believe she can tell I was pretty frustrated at this point. This place looks pretty cool online, and we were in the area nearly 5 hours away from home and chose to check this place out. There is actually nothing scary or thrilling about this place at all just people walking around. Food was okay but the service is absolutely ridiculous. I always tip no matter where I go pretty close to 20% but when you automatically put 20% on the bill, servers know they are getting paid anyway and and care less to provide service. It's even more amazing, is the audacity to ask for more tip while you're paying on the machine .

Read moreAwesome concept poor execution sit down and buckle up cuz this is going to be a book, party of 10 my birthday celebration
awesome characters walking all over the place most of the characters was going to all the tables that was having a celebration and having their pictures taken with the person that was celebrating, however when it came to my table we couldn't get no pictures taken with them
Drinks, I have a food allergen I'm allergic to strawberries some of the alcohol drinks had strawberries in them had to ask the waitress which ones did not have strawberries so I could have a drink she went to the bartender 20 minutes later she comes back to our table to inform me which drinks I could possibly have so I ordered from what she suggested when I got the alcohol drink there was red gummies in it 90% chance strawberry flavor My niece caught it to inform me that there was red gummies in my alcohol drink had to wait for the waitress to come back over and when I specifically asked her about this she apologized and said oh sorry I'll make you a new one that right there already told me what kind of night it was going to be we got the manager over there and I made a complaint about the drink for the simple fact it had gummies in there that was red and they could not tell me whether or not they were strawberry so my allergy wasn't a concern for them red flag number 2
we have been ready to place our order for a while waiting on the waitress to come she finally shows up and we're able to place our order almost an hour later we get our food almost an hour later but the sad part of that is our food would come out every 20 to 30 minutes we would only get a partial of it like we'll get two plates the first 20 minutes goes by then we'll get three plates the next 15-20 minutes goes by it was ridiculous our food should have came out all the same time not sporadically half our table already had their food ate and was ready to go while the other half of our table will still waiting for food to come so they could eat and go my The people next to our table came in after us and got their food continuously before us red flag number 3
I ordered the Michael Myers challenge burger The menu said I had 1 hour to eat it online said 45 minutes but the restaurant themselves argued and was only going to give me 30 minutes no we had to complain about that we finally got 45 minutes so I'm doing the challenge burger my timer died half of it was already gone within the first 20 minutes Michael Myers came over and was showing us the timer and we thought he clicked it off so we was upset at my table because we're thinking he killed the timer at the 20 minute mark 30 minute mark in between there so I'm aggravated and gave the food away why do I want to eat it if you're not going to honor your system and your system had three different times which needed to be fixed that was red flag number 4
overall experience as I said Great concept poorly executed they need to get their game on would I go back no would I recommend this place no I could go on and on about the experience but I've already gave you enough to read I would suggest going someplace else we drove almost 4 hours to come to this place just to be treated like garbage did our waitress earn the 20% tip that she got hell...
This place is tough to review because there are layers to it. There's food, Customer Service and experience. We drove 2 and half hours to celebrate my son and my birthday. When we walked in we were super excited and instantly connected with the experience. There is a box office like a movie theatre where you check in. You don't need a reservation BUT it's highly recommended because even with a reservation we waited 30 minutes to be seated. We went during brunch, which was only labeled as "Experience" on the reservation website. It was amazing because the experience was Michael Myers. He follows you around, takes pictures, etc. There is fog and lights everywhere. It is dimly lit as well and parking was a nightmare. Back to the story. We were seated but there are a/c vents above some of the tables and it was cold. It was dark. There isn't much going on once you're inside the restaurant. Characters walked around (Just Chucky and Michael Myers that day) but no interactions or anything. Horror movies play on the televisions around the restaurants. Other than that it's literally just a restaurant. They do bring you free popcorn to the table while you wait and there are flavored seasonings on the table to sprinkle on top. The menu is a QR code but very worn so our phones took a few tries to pick it up. The menu is vast, there is something for everyone. The menu is themed around movies, characters, horror, etc. Service was slow and we only saw our waiter a couple of times, I felt like we had to flag her down more than she checked on us. The food was super slow coming out of the kitchen and came in parts. My 2 oldest sons got their food first, then my son got his kids meal, then my daughter and I received mine last. The food was just ok and you could get better tasting food anywhere, literally but it's the experience. he fun themed drinks are super pricey $25-$30 but they were good. All 5 of us shared the Grinch and we couldn't finish it, it's HUGE. My only complaint was that it's supposed to have candy and had like 3 gummy candies.
I let them know it was mine and my sons birthday and they played the Purge siren and a server walks out with a flashing light and then the music plays with a DJ narrating in the background for people to sing and wish you happy birthday. We chose to dance and Noone made us feel awkward. We explored the restaurant after eating and I posted pictures of all that we saw. It wasn't what I expected but it wasn't bad. Experience gets a 10 out of 10 Food 3 of out 10 Service 5 out of 10 Overall it's a one and done type experience. If you go know that you're going for dining and don't hype your expectations you'll be fine. It is a restaurant with...
