Went into target at about 8:15 in the morning on Thursday 08/09/18,walked in and there was employees in the front did not greet us,they were standing there talking. There was no comment about all the construction going on in the store. The were multiple employees not one greeted us throughout the store, we encountered at least 15 not one smile not one greet.I was trying to get to the gaming section there were multiple employees talking and restocking the merchandise since they were moving stuff around. They turned and looked at me and continued to talk and did not even acknowledge me what so ever. The whole store was a disaster looked like a tornado went through sections carts were everywhere you could not shop in certain sections.I have worked in the retail industry for a long time and we would never treat our customers that way,and we have gone through remodels, and never left that kind of atmosphere for customers to shop in.One it is a huge safety issue for people shopping, and then thee poor customer service on top of it :(.
(UPDATE 12/29/2018) rude target employees Again Yes we experience bad customer service next to the food area there was a female target employee blocking the whole aisle she had a full cart of champion bottles she was talking to a employee other customer was going around them.i was with my wife and 2 boys and i had a full cart of food and i could not get by her. she saw us and she never moved she continue talking. i said to her excuse i am trying to get through and she still did not move. i stood there looking at her and she finely moves and looks at me and said hi she made a "smug look on her face" she was very rude! she never apologize. she was a female latina with long black hair she had glasses on and i try to get her name she put her pony tail in front of her name tag it was blocking her name tag so i would not see it. i seen her again at the cashier check out. she was at the front cashier area she was stocking champion bottles at the incap shelfs. she still had her name tag blocked by her hair she did this intentionally. I think she knew i was trying to look at her name tag.she knows what she did wrong.it was very disrespectful what she did. I am a male Latino too so there no 'Racial profiling' here. its just bad customer service by a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor two decades of shopping here, we have never been to any Target store location where they closed down the aisle. The female employee was working in one of the toy aisles tonight, and did not properly close off the aisle. She placed a ladder there to the side of one aisle and I didn't know but found it odd and went to look at the mini brands toys for a gift. She then said this aisle is closed off after I entered and was looking at the toys already. I let her know I wasn't aware (no signs posted on ladder) and asked when will it open and she said, "It's gonna take a minute." I asked if she would allow me to look at what we came for in this section very briefly. She responded she can't because she is moving everything around. I asked why they couldn't wait until store closed to shuffle things around and she repeated saying, it's going to be a minute. So I waited around and checked other aisles and about 15 mins I returned and didn't see her working throughout the aisle still, except at the very end which was where I saw her originally at. Where we needed to check was in the middle. My SO went into the aisle and I told him we can't go in there and she repeated herself this aisle is closed. My SO asked if we can look. There was a gentleman named Isaiah who came into the aisle at the time when my SO asked them if they can let us know if they have what we are looking for in stock. He was the only professional employee who showed customer service, checked and let us know they didn't have it in stock. I'm glad I only waited 15 mins, but imagine waiting longer until she was done and then only to see they don't have it in stock. What made me write this review is not to point out the gentleman's customer service but to let everyone know what made it worst was when we thanked him and walked off, the female employee laughed unprofessionally and disrespectfully. Target should look into more customer service training for their employees to set a professional tone and environment. Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been going to this Target for years to do Cat and Jack exchanges. Everyone I have done my exchanges with have been awesome. The past three times itās been the same lady with curly red/grey hair. The past two times this lady said she cannot return my Cat and Jack with an ID. The time before i only had two items she wouldnāt return and i didnāt want to be argumentative with her so i just left and donated the two pieces. This time she said she couldnāt find six of them on my account or my husbands so i asked her if i could return with my ID for store credit knowing we all get $100 a year for Cat and Jack if they canāt find the receipt. Sometimes we use cash to pay for our items and forget to add our phone number. She told me again that she canāt do that. I had asked her when Target quit doing Cat and Jack returns with the ID and she said āI donāt know and I canāt return theses.ā I very politely said okay thank you have a great day. I walked away and call corporate they said they still do Cat and Jack returns with an ID and i need to speak to the store manager immediately. I asked for help from the nearest associate, and it happened to be a floor lead named Daniel G. I had explained everything to him and he was very nice, professional, and understanding. He immediately took me to the service desk and handled my cat and jack return with my ID. THANK YOU DANIEL G!!! If Daniel wasnāt so awesome i would have left a 2 star review from poor customer...
