So my husband and I have been talking about getting a new mattress for a while now. Currently have a king size that we purchased about 4years ago and the dents are all over it. It’s so uncomfortable and we’ve been waking up with aches and pains for a few years now. We’ve also flipped it around so many times I thought it’s definitely the time to invest in a new mattress. We’ve talked about getting a tempur-pedic but never initiated it due to the pricing, but upon contemplation we both agreed it’s an investment that we wouldn’t go wrong with. I was looking on the Tempur-pedic website to get an idea what we wanted. But I suggested to my husband that we should actually go to a mattress store and try it out to see if we like it. Googled the nearest tempur-pedic mattress store and we were in the area and decided to come here. We arrived on a Saturday just before noon. We were greeted by William D. He opened the door for us. We were the only customers which was nice that we didn’t have any competition in looking at possibly the same mattresses as other customers. William asked what we were looking for. We told him that we were interested in a tempur-pedic firm mattress. He was so welcoming, and his vibe was very lively. He showed us three mattresses that met our criteria. He took his time to educate us about each matress and demonstrated the great qualities that Tempur-pedic offered. He also allowed us to freely lay on the bed without feeling rushed. He answered all of our questions and not once did we feel pressured to buy (like we normally would feel coming to furniture stores). After some time of going back and forth we decided on the first one William showed us which was also his favorite; TEMPUR-LuxeAdapt 13" Firm. He also gave us recommendations on breathable mattress protectors. Throughout the buying process William was very helpful and patient. He also gave very clear instructions with caring for our mattress, protector and delivery instructions as well as warranties and the 120 night low price guarantee. He was also very transparent with restocking fees and other delivery fee if we decided to return the mattress. Overall, we had such a great experience with William. He was also very kind to our toddler and made her feel very comfortable. If you’re looking for a new mattress, I highly recommend coming here and talking to William. Read moreBUYERS BEWARE! Poor customer service for online purchases. UPDATE I filed a grievance with PayPal and I recevied the partial refund that Mattress Firm owed me. It took a month but PayPal fought for justice! I have still not heard back from Mattress Firm! I purchased a bed online, on May 7, 2020. Website states that someone will reach out within 48 hours to schedule delivery. I had to call the store on May 13, 2020 because I still had not received contact from anyone. Manager Orville (Rashon) helped me get my bed delivered and offered me a refund because the custom box spring I ordered was not available. When the bed was delivered, he was not able to make the refund because I paid with Paypal. There was a Memorial Day sale and I was told by Rashon that I was also entitled to a price adjustment because my bed was now on sale. Again, he could not issue that refund because I paid with Paypal. He gave me the number to customer service because he stated that he was busy with Memorial Day customers and could not take the time to assist me, himself. He accused me of attacking him because I told him that I felt like he was not making me a priority because I already purchased my bed, and the folks in the show room had yet to give him their money. I asked him for the district manager's number and he refused to give it to me. Rashon stated that he would leave that person a message and they would get back to me. I am still waiting for that person to call me. I contacted customer service, and the rep took my information and stated that someone would call me back. That was on the 24th. I am still waiting for a call back. Now, when I call the customer service number, there is a pre-recorded message stating that because of Covid, all business is now being conducted via email only. I emailed them several times and I get an auto response stating that their customer service mail box is not monitored and to call the customer service number for assistance. It is a never ending loop. If you are going to purchase from this company, do it IN PERSON, so that they cannot ignore you, and get EVERYTHING they promise you in writing. Read moreWe purchased a bed here almost 6 months ago I wanted to wait to give my honest review. William helped us with our purchase, but as we ran into difficulties after our purchase we reached out to him through email with no return response. We then went in and Robert helped us we explained we tried to reach William , but we were told he was off. Robert was helpful. We had another problem and went into the store again William was off this day as well jose helped us this time we mentioned we were having difficulties with an issue and jose was very helpful. Unfortunately our bed is not to comfortable we were told to maybe walk on it - we did unfortunately I just don't think it works for me my back seems to now hurt , but maybe soon it will feel comfortable I was told the bed in the show room has been softened by so many customers trying it out, but the bed we have is stiff in my opinion. The two pillows we bought aren't good sleeping pillows like we were told , but they are good sofa pillows for back comfort. Overall everyone we dealt with was very nice , but my shout out is to Robert and Jose for helping us out when we had such difficulty reaching William.
