Terrapin Trader — Attraction in College Park

Covid hit Terrapin Trader hard. They were completely shut down for a while. They are open again, Tues-Thurs 9AM-1PM. The inventory at TT varies quite a bit. The stock was down when I stopped in a few weeks ago. I used to drop in regularly and I have purchased a lot of items from them over the years varying from computers to wardrobes, dressers, air conditioners, and other small furniture items. The staff vary but are in general helpful when they are not otherwise busy. If you're a budget college student in need of some solid tech stuff this place is top. Fair warning, everything is used and you're not going to get top performance out of some of the iMac, Dell All-In-Ones and Dell towers they sell here. However the monitors are cheap, they have a ton of peripherals for cheap and some of the desktops they carry are very easily upgradeable. Good deals on some beat up furniture sometimes. Furniture prices are surprisingly discounted here. Please check this place out if you are buying furniture for your new home or office. It's open till 1PM most days. Just pick out the things you want to buy, collect the slip from the item and show it to the counter. Once it is done, the staff will help you load them into your truck. It's very simple.
